  4. hey everyone, my family is italian, so i am and will always be addiacted to Pasta. so i figured, if i'm going to eat it, i'll be smart about it. I but alot of whole wheat or whole grain pasta and i make it fresh when i have the time. one of my favorite recipes is to cook up some pasta then in a seperate pan cook up 1lb of skinless chicken breast 2 cloves of garlic 1/2 a white onion minced then when the chicken is cooked 3/4 of the way add 2 cans of cream of broccoli Soup (make it with chicken stock instead of milk for more flavor) so let this sauce start to simmer to make the sauce a little thicker, i add 1/2 a cup of shredded fat free chedder cheese and let it melt in. its really good...and if you make the sauce with chicken stock as aposed to milk, your cutting the fat and calorie intake when i make this i always make a big green salad and cut up vegtables on the side. enjoy all iamcanadian25

  17. So. i had the day off, and i went to the grocery store to get some things for supper. There was a sale on side pork ribs, i thinking eh..i'll get' um...everyone likes ribs. So i get home...and i season them and put them in the fridge to let them get yummy. 2 Hrs before dinner..i turned the BBQ on real low, and put the ribs on. well....they sat in the BBq for 2 hrs, until dinner was ready. While they were cooking i brushed them with a sauce i had made with canadian club rye. so everyone was sitting down to supper, i had made ribs and steamed green beens with seasme oil and lemon juice, and some roasted garlic mash potatoes, and i took a bite of a rib, and chewed it till no tommorow, swallowed it...and after a few bites, WOW did it hurt!. i guess i'm still not ready for some meats yet... (sad face) iamcanadian25

  23. dose anybody ever miss eating like you used too? Did anybody ever eat not because you were hungry, but because you liked the way a certin food tasted? my downfall was pizza, from this little pizzaria in town that made the most mouth watering pizza sauce in the world!!! and when ever we ordered from there, i just ended up eating way more then i needed too...(shame spiral)..lol what do some of you miss eating lots of? iamcanadian25
  24. creamy chicken Pasta I make this meal for my family, so the amounts are for 6 people eating.. 5 boneless skin less chicken breasts cut in to small cubes 2 cloves of garlic crushed and minced 1 small onion chopped small 1 can of cream of broccoli soup made with milk..( or for low faw use Water of chicken broth) half a bag of pasta ( i use penne o rigatoni or bowties) Use a non stick pan with a tablespoon of oilve oil and cook the chicken half way..when its half cooked, add the garlic and onions and brown. then add the soup and the milk and then the mixture simmer for 10mins to ensure its cooked threw. add this to the half bag of cooked pasta we eat this meal with a green salad. very tasty!!! iamcanadian
  25. hey girl, sometimes it could be the cuts of meats your using...and how long you cook them for. A softer, less chewy type of chicken would be, boneless skinless chicken thighs..there very soft and taste really good, and becareful how long your cooking your food for, for chicken to be cooked all the way threw.it only have to be 140-160 degrees and if you cook it to long...its going to to be dryer then a popcorn fart in hell! my favorite "food lube" is tomato sauce, anything tastes good with tomato sauce..hehe good luck... iamcanadian25
