  1. Congrats girly. Miami girl here. I was done at Baptist on May 22. Which support group will any of you be going too
  2. You are protected under the First Amendment. As a former smoker, I wish I had stuff like that to read. Been smoke free for over 5 yrs. the best. Irony though, you get sleeved to lose weight and be healthy but continue smoking which is just as bad. To each their own. Just ironic. :/
  3. I love baby bell. I look forward to that stage. I've been eating different soft cheese. Good source of protein and calcium. Very filling too.
  4. Wow. Interesting replies. This is good info. Thank you for sharing.
  5. Ooooo I look forward to having those. So they fall under soft foods
  6. They are so satisfying too.
  7. I've read great post and advice. So I would love to know what are the slider foods so I can stay away from them. I think I have an idea but I love to learn.
  8. Hi Aussie Lady. Yeah, that's what I do. I just stick to the Drs order. I don't have any desire to test my limits. I'm committed and determined to make it work. I guess being just sleeved and reading about others feelings of fullness. I guess I need to go thru the motions.
  9. I was sleeved on may 22 and the pain still lingers around. Gets better by the day.
  10. Has turned out to be a great in between snack. Anyone else like them.
  11. I apologize first of all cause I'm sure there has been other post about this. I was sleeved on May 22 and got the go ahead to introduced very soft foods such as cottage cheese. I bought the breakstone Live Active. It's exactly 4 ounces. I eat it with no problem. I don't feel full after I eat. But I'm satisfied after eating it but I guess that this early in having the procedure I'm hoping to experience a sense of fullness.
  12. Lol. Ok. I re read it and misunderstood. Sorry
  13. I must not be understanding.
  14. I'm confused about it and/or I'm just not understanding ????
  15. So I have read some threads and I guess I wanted a little clarification. I've read that since our stomachs are swollen during the healing period it can feel like our stomachs can hold more food. Is this true? Or am I reading it wrong.
  16. I had that while pregnant. Per Dr it was lack of potassium. Bananas or Gatorade
  17. I'm post op a wk. today. tomorrow I will learn how much I've lost so far. I don't expect much since I'm still a bit swollen from surgery. I would be happy if I just continue losing until i reach my goal weight. If it takes a yr, then it's a yr. I would think losing a bit slower also keeps it off a tad easier. Kudos to all the lbs lost. ❤
