  1. I can feel it moving thru and I have a satisfied sensation. Before with puréed it would just go thru and I would just stop since I measure it.
  2. My left shoulder starts aching when my stomach is satisfied.
  3. Restriction. I've started to eat refried beans and egg salad and I can feel the restriction.
  4. You are all wise and thank you. I feel much better.
  5. I so agree. I'm the bubbly kind of girl. Don't like ugly souls.
  6. You are right. Sorry for venting.
  7. I so agree. Of course I'm crying like a baby. People think this is an easy or doable journey with or without surgery. It's not. I have a hard time with mean people. Gotta butch up.
  8. There is a this woman and her trainer just talking down on far people even one that had bypass. I feel like slapping them. Ok almost done with my bike. 3 more min. Ugh.
  9. I'm 2 1/2 wks post op. I eat cottage cheese, laughing cow, split pea soup and protein shakes. Hope u feel better.
  10. I'm down 14 lbs. I'm guessing I'm in the slow loser category. I am losing inches. I wish I could lose just tad faster but grateful. My hardest is mental. Trying to reassure myself that the sleeve will work and I will not fail.
  11. I'm sorry you are going thru so much. Did you have the sleeve?
  12. Surgery date May 22,2013 SW 265 CW 251
  13. Congratulations on your accomplishment. You look beautiful.
  14. I think we went in the same day. I feel you. I think in our first month or so, the mental aspect of this journey is the hardest. Kudos on your WL!
  15. Thanks. I know it's mental. Also since I'm really just having puréed good I'm being hard on myself as to why I don't feel it. I've been keeping track to be accountable and it works. I don't over do it especially since I'm scared of doing something wrong to my new tummy. I look fwd to getting past the insecurities.
  16. Food you ate after only 2 wks post op. did anyone eat more because you felt you could? I'm so curious as to why some feel such restriction and others don't.
  17. Misty, I'm fairly new to the forum but I've noticed what you said is true. What surprises me is the lack of serious research. I went to support groups and looked up the good and the bad. One can't be guaranteed anything in life, but you can be prepared.
  18. There is nothing wrong with those who don't question what they just did. There is a reason why insurance companies have certain req including psy evaluations. This is NOT an easy way out nor a simple process. You have to work at it. Some have it tougher than others but given time, any issues will pass. Granted there are exceptions. For those who are pre sleevers, do good research and ensure you are mentally ready. Surround yourself with a good support system. Ultimately if you go for it, best of luck. Remember that no one forced you to do this. You did. Ps some of are very happy with our choice.
