  3. Alright my friends....I have really been concerned with the upcoming pureed diet phase post op. I must say NOT anymore...I have done some investigating especially on PINTEREST. I think this is gonna be sooo easy! So many options out there and didnt realize one of my favorite foods...MUSH...as a base to meats is good....so could do that for 4 weeks....but I am always open for good tasty ideas if anyone would like to share!
  4. Did you mean pre-op? If this happened post op how did you feel after eating that salad?
  5. I would have to say that you are getting way to many calories...the most my dr. says we can have post op 800-900 per day
  6. So sorry that you are feeling this way...I am only 5 days post op so I really cant say. But get back to basics...are you drinking before a meal? during? are you making sure most of your meal is protein? are you measuring or just eating?
  7. You are doin amazing...Keep up the great work! I am 5 day post op and looking forward to hopefuly great results like you have found...knowing that we are all different I can only hope.
  8. That is great 4 months out...I think the problem most of had is we did ENJOY eating. If it is chore we likely not to over eat and end up back at where we were before...
  9. I was told to start them 1 kind at a time once I got home...I have flintstones complete and a calciam soft chew that they told me to get.
  10. By the way I am 5 days out so I may be able to get more in later...but following the strict instructions I should only eat 2 oz at a time'
  11. I have an extremely strick Dr. and of course we are never to eat more than 3 oz once we have the sleeve...and yes we are SUPPOSE to only eat 2 oz especially while your stomach is healing.
  12. I have used it pre-op...havent made any post-op. I LIKED THE TASTE OF IT.

  14. Congrats... I am 5 days out and I am sore still...Doing well on my full liquids... the protein that I am digging is Premier protein. taste great and doesnt smell or taste like protein...you def got to try it.
  15. since you can only have very little...2 oz at a time...I have opened one can it was Cream of Chicken...We discussed not thinning it so it stays with you longer.I put in small freezer safe baby containers...I have it 3 times now...got to more to use...so remember one can is 5 meals
  16. I dont let peoples negativity affect me that way...it to me is more of a challenge to prove the doubters wrong. use it as fuel for the future.
  17. that is a cool concept...I have mine from 1992 should see how long it would take me to get back into it....
  18. I am 5 days post op and I would have to say that my back hurts cuz you try to avoid pressure on the belly and sitting in uncomfortable positions too....I too am still sore but each day it is better and better....
  19. I must I envy your right now..Today is 5 days post-op, and I still have pain, but each day gets better and want so badly to sleep on my side!

  22. thanks..I have not used nt pain meds either but was gonna right now so I can hopefully get sleep!
  23. I think you answered your own question...You can always go back to basics...I know someone that is 9 years out and has gone back to basics and have 50 more lbs. everything is possible.
  24. O my...ever since I woke up after surgery I can't sleep...today is 4 days out and I might sleep for 20 mins at a time. I need some serious rest! Anyone else have this problem? I know I have not been very comfortable either but my body is SCREAMING for rest!
  25. I love white potatoes and cauliflower whipped together for mashed potatoes that would add some protein. My kids think there is something wrong with the potatoes if the cauliflower is missing...
