  1. I've been fairly b&$@?y since surgery, with no tolerance for stupid or obnoxious people LOL. I never connected it to the surgery, but maybe it is!
  2. Try it and let us know how it works for you.
  3. This is a great way to do it. My goal is 80 g protein, less than 60 carbs, less than 30 fat, and 10 g Fiber. This is from my nut. It works out to roughly 800 calories.
  4. Yes. Each week you'll be able to get n a little more. Just focus on Protein and Water.
  5. Low fat plain kefir, and the things mentioned above.
  6. Hmm, could be I suppose, or iron deficiency. Best to ask, then let us know what you find out.
  7. This early on you won't be able to get in many calories. You'll eventually be able to eat more. I personally stay under 800 but many go between 800 and 1000, especially if you add in exercise.
  8. A couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of Water before bed helps me (I add a spoon of honey too). The acid triggers the valve between the esophagus and stomach to stay closed.
  9. I have cut way back on caffeine, but I do still enjoy an occasional cup of tea with caffeine. I enjoy green, jasmine, Good Earth cinnamon, Constant Comment, Earl Grey, English Breakfast Tea.
  10. Oh yes. I'm at 8 weeks. My dr just prescribed Reglan, which I will try this week, and I have a barium swallow scheduled for Tuesday to check for stricture. The lump in the throat is awful and accounts for a lot of nausea and eating unpleasantness. I sleep with 4 pillows to keep the acid down. I take omeprozole and ranitidine daily.

  12. Many people stall but not all. I haven't stalled yet at 8 weeks. I have no clue why some do and some don't. However, I only lose 2 lbs a week. Slow and steady. Wish I had pix like that, an excellent motivator.

  22. Never even occurred to me, but I've had several surgeries before. Getting hit by a car is more likely.
