  1. Hi everyone...I am an April bandster but I just wanted to pop in and say I am so happy for you all and the journey you are beginning!! Best of luck to all of you!!

  3. Never been there. I heard it is really awesome. I wanna save that field trip for when my DH is off. He LOVES doing that kind of thing!! The hobby lobby idea is a great one!! Thank you!!
  4. YIKES!! There is not enough money in the world to get me to weigh at night!! You are braver than I am. For me to weigh anytime other than morning is just asking for heartache!!
  5. Good morning violets!! YAY, its Saturday!! I have all 3 of the kids here this weekend. Macy is happy that her bubba & sissy are here for her to play with. She really misses them when they are not here, but when it is time for their visit, she is on cloud 9. I am so glad that she is close to them. It is amazing to me how there are so many half brothers & sisters in the world that do not even know each other! Now, what to do with them this weekend....I would like to bring them to the city pool but just me with all 3 of them is too scarey for me. My DH is working so I am limited on what I can do with all of them. I just would not be able to live with myself if someting happened to one of the kids on "my watch". My ex-wife-in-law (dh ex wife) would never forgive me if something happened to one of her kids on my watch, but then again, I do not blame her. SO, we will do something out of the water....lol There are not really any good movies at the theater right now, at least nothing that would keep the 4 year old quiet. The 2 older ones just had their birthdays, so I will bring them shopping so they can spend their birthday money we gave them. That outta be a joke... But, if they get unruly I can just use the mothers words like "if you keep misbehaving, we will just go home and I won't buy you anything". That is always good for about 5 minutes of good behavior. Everyone have a great day!! WWJD?!!
  6. Thanks SO much Terri (aka blabbermouth)!! Happy Friday everyone!! Have a wonderful day and remember WWJD?!

  17. I would want to be a stay at home mom, unfortunately I can't. Maybe in a few years, but not right now :cry I am going to ask my company if I can wor 3 days a week instead of 5. If they say no, which they probably will, I will explore other options. Seems like after so many years of service that they would say yes, but I just don't think they will. But, I can't just sit back and wonder, I just have to grab the bull by the horns and ask. I wish we still had our president that used to be there, he would have said yes for sure. As far as the books, that is a great idea. I am gonna check it out!! Thanks for the advice
  18. Good morning violets-Happy Saturday Has anything like this happened to any of you? Last night I had one jack in the box taco....and to tell you the truth, it wasn't that good...I used to love them. Last week (or was it the week before) I took a small bite of my DD sonic hamburger, bread and all, the bread was so gross tasting to me that I spit it out. I just wonder if my taste buds have changed or have I brainwashed myself? Either way works for me!! Made me think I am not really missing out on anything like I thought I was. This may just be my PMS talking but, here goes... I feel so stuck in a rut. I have been doing the same job for about 17 years. I am OK with what I do it is just the same thing day after day...I will never go any further there. I sit behind a desk all day long and it is really starting to get old. My DH would probably not bellieve his eyes if he read this next part....I would be willing to take a pay cut to do something different but it is hard to find M-F jobs that aren't behind a desk. I do not want to just sit behind a desk anymore. Since my DD is so young, I would need a M-F day job. What is a woman to do? Sometimes I wish that I were just part-time that way I could do other things with my spare time...which I really don't have right now. I don't think my employers would go for that though. I guess I could ask, but when you know what the outcome is gonna be, why ask? Spare time, hmmmm, what is that like? Ugh....OK, that is enough of that right now. I just get really down about this situation at times and today is one of those days. Everyone have a great weekend and I will check in later. Take care...
  19. Great picture ladies, you are all so beautiful and look so happy! What a group! Glad you all had a good time! Everyone have a great evening. (and cheer up jenifur)
  20. WOOHOOO!! That is a great NSV....feels great doesn't it? There are many many more to come!! ENJOY!! I have no clue what the scales say because I took Terri's advice and put the scales in the closet. No scales for me until Aunt Flow is gone. Hello everyone...have a great day...
  21. Men....i wish they could all have ONE menstrual cycle...just ONE full week.....ARRGGGGHH!
  22. Tracy...what beautiful rings!!!! I love them...you go girl :car:
  23. Thanks everone about the kind words on my dd pic. Kat-I loved reading your story about your grand daughter!! I was under the impression that I could not have kids. She was a big surprise to not just me but my DH and the whole family!! My DH has 2 kids from his first marriage, but Macy is my only natural child. She weighed 9 pounds when she was born. She turns 4 next month and I can hardly believe how fast the time has passed. I would have liked to had another baby but she is far more than I ever expected. Since that made 3 for my DH I decided she was enough for me. She is my girl...God saw fit for me to have her and I can not thank him enough. When I got the band I knew that I had a year and a half before she starts public school. I never wanted her to come home from school crying because one of her "friends" said her mommie is fat. Kids have enough issues these days and I did not want her to have to defend me. So, that is why I decided to do something about it. It would kill me for her to cry over me and feel like she has to defend me. I am her biggest role model and I will not let her down. I can't. Being her mother is the biggest responsibility I have. I want her to have the best life possible, therefore, I am going to lead by example. She deserves the best I can offer, so I have to strive to be the best. OK, enough about that... Have a great day!
