Good morning everyone....beautiful day here again today!! SO, with that being said, I am going to enjoy it. Don't know what we will do, but I will find something!! Nephew is back at home and one his regular meds again. I have not spoke with my sister this morning to see how the night went....hopefully seizure free. Have a great day everyone!!

Wow, long day...so I will make a long story short. My nephew that had tried to kill himself had 5 seizures today and is back in the hospital. When he tried to OD last week, he tried to OD on all of his seizure meds. He has not been able to take any since because his med level was too high....well....too high of one kind and none of the other kind and it all hit him today. My DD was there while it was happening, but luckily we were able to pick her up before she actually witnessed any of it. Each time he had a seizure, he fell down, hitting things on the way down, he has a black eye, busted mouth. He is about 6' 3" and about 260, so we are not talking about a small guy so it stands to reason that when he falls down, he falls hard!! Now we are worried that all of these seizures may have caused some brain damage. As I hear how he is doing I will let you all know!! I am going to meet my sis halfway in the morning to let her take my dd for the night.....then who knows. I know I have to go find her a halloween costume! I found a really cute Cinderella costume...but I wanna look around more.

:cool: Good morning Violets!!! OK, so here is what I did to make the scale start moving the way it is...pretty simple actually. I changed from having my "biggest" meal to lunch instead of dinner. And for dinner I just have either a protein shake or soup. I promise, that is all I changed and it is working like a charm!! At first it was difficult for me because I love love love to eat in the evening, but once I saw the results it handed me, I think I will stick to it for a while. Oh, and one more thing....my fluid pills are very mild and I only take them 2 or 3 times a week, so I have started taking them when I get home from work at 5 PM. By the time I go to bed around 9 I have PP'd all I m going to and it doesn't wake me up at night to go. I thought I would share what I am doing in case some of you wanted to try it. It is very hard having to cook for dh and dd and not eat what they are, but, I had to do something to get to onederland, and it worked!! Now I am still doing it to be able to get as far away from 2something as I can!! Kat-that is a good idea too. Macys dr has prescribed that mixture for her before for something she had wrong. (can't remember what it was, but it was not ulcers) What is Kinsey gonna be for halloween? Laura-I had the bubble PB before too. Pretty gross but kinda awesome looking...I thought WTF? Terri-cool thread you thought of!! I love it! Judy-I do not have the self discipline to only get on the scales once a week. The only way I could pull it off is have someone take my scales and take my debit card so I won't go buy new ones. Good morning everyone!! Now if the tooth I had pulled wasn't bad enough, I have ulcers in my mouth right in the crease of my cheek & gums...OMG, is my mouth ever going to feel normal again? I put oragel but it burns so badly when I first put it on that I am a wimp to use it. With my luck it is some kind of gum disease and I have used up all my dental insurance for the year so now what? Have any of you ladies heard of any good home remedies for mouth ulcers? Would it be a dentist I need to go to? My whole left side of my head hurts. Dear Jesus, I am falling apart!! Oh, and now my medium size boobies are now small boobies. I refuse to be an "A", so if they shrink any more, it will be new boobs with my TT. I did not wanna do that BUT I am not gonna tolerate A's either!! I need to get my wedding ring downsized....it can just slip right off my finger, which I suppose is a NSV. Oh well, at least my bowels are moving. So I guess it could be worse!! OK, that all the whining I can handle from myself this morning! :confused: Everyone have a great day!

OMG....I just lost the biggest post of my life. I am SO not gonna retype it all. Nephew may be getting out of the hospital today. The other post had personals to everyone and their grandma...oh well, I love ya'll.....

My nephew is in a private room now. my sister has to stay in his room the whole time and if she leaves for one minute, someone has to take her place. Suicide watch I presume. He had an outburst yesterday when he woke up. I really am not getting that many details from my sister because she can not really say anything in front of him...I will let you know how it all goes. Thanks for the prayers for my nephew. It is a disfunctional family...the extended family (including me) just do not what to do or say anymore. I just put it in the lords hands. ROFLMAO....OMG terri!!! I needed that!! Haydee-we should get together someday. Just let me know when!! Maybe Terri would wanna join us? Wow, there were so many posts to catch up un since this morning that I can not remember everything I wanted to say:confused: I have a general idea of my daily caloric intake. I can not get on the internet to those kinds of sites while I am at work so I just keep a running total in my head and then just ctrl-alt-delete my brain at the end of the day so I can start over the next day. Its working pretty good so far!! Last night my 24 year old nephew tried to kill himself. He is in ICU right now. I feel so sorry for him. He has to live with his parents (my sister and her "spawn of satan" husband) because he has seizures and is not allowed to drive. He never has had a "normal" life. Well, he got into it with his dad yesterday and when his parents went to church, he took 2 bottles of his seizure medication and his youngest brother found him on the bathroom floor. He is still out of it today, has woke up a time or 2 but was just blubbering nonsense. They are worried that he will wake up violent. He tried to kill himself when he was a teenager. We are worried that he will be involuntarily committed. Please pray for him (and my sister). Pamela-get well sistah! Everyone have a good evening!

My BMI has gone from "morbidly obese" to just "obese". here is the great part....in 7 more pounds I will be in the "slightly overweight" catagory....me, TracyK, slightly obese? I have a new goal...very attainable (those are the only kinds of goals I make) 190 by Thanksgiving. GO ME!!!

OK, so it seems I am not the only one that forgets!! My goodness, we live with that band and think about it day & night and it is strange how for one split second we forget and cram sh*t in our mouths...LOL pretty funny actually. But boy oh boy do we remember that little band QUICK as soon as we swallow and then we start sliming and all that gross stuff. OK violets, I heard you all loud & clear. I will report all weight losses and not keep them to myself. OMG...I just noticed my BMI...not far from under 30....you have to be kidding me! I am gonna go check to make sure that is right!! I'll brb...

Thanks everyone...I appreciate the kind words. Kat-you look fantastic!! How tall are you? I am gonna go run pick up my dd. She spent the night with my mom last night so I am going to meet them halfway to pick her up. While we were there yesterday she cried to her mawmaw & pop wanting to spend the night with them and of course, they caved in....gotta love grandparents!!! I will check in later....

Terri & Jenn-Thanks for noticing the ticker!! I wasn't going to say anything about the other 2.5 pounds because I didn't want to make it seem like I was rubbing it in. I hit onederland and I figured enough said. Plus I had said that I was not going to weigh again for about a week. But When I woke up I justfelt like I had lost more, so I weighed and confirmed what I thought. I have looked back in my calender because I thought there was a pattern in my weight loss. Weird, but, every month since the lap band I have lost 3-5 pounds the week before my TOM. Every month has been that way so I was not too worried about getting on the scales. I was just kind of afraid to make too big of a deal over it. Don't wanna piss anyone off. Thanks for noticing though...I am very proud! jenn-glad to hear that your aunt is doing better!!

Judy-I am glad that your concert went well! Congrats on the 1 lb. I think all of us may have learned what not to do from your cruise experience! But in good ol Judy fashion, you are getting the pounds back off....I knew you would! YAY YOU! Pamela-I hope that you feel better soon! Sounds like you and your neices & nephews had fun though! MsJen-Wow, how great it was to read how much you are in love with you! It is so refreshing to hear people say that. I am starting to love me too! it is a great feeling. Jennifur-I agree with everything MsJen said. How is your aunt? Kat-no my sister does not own a shop....she and her dh work, they have no kids and she is able to spoil herself. She is one of those marathon shoppers. I do not like to go with her because it is an all day affair. She can wear out a 3 year old when it comes to shopping! I would be your sister and pass things along, but lucky for you, my stuff would be way to big for you!! Terri-the necklace you described sounds like it is beautiful. I wish I had the time & patience to do that! tracyKS-sorry about the gain, but it will come back off in no time...you are a violet!! Besides, you are turning mens heads, remember? That NSV alone will be what gets the 2 pounds and even more off!! So, yesterday I lost my everloving mind. For a split second, I literally forgot about the band....I mean FORGOT! I was walking through the kitchen, saw my DD mini chocolate donuts, opened the bag and stuck a whole one in my mouth and chewed it up and swallowed it in one big gulp and then thought...OMG!!!!! The chest pains immediately started and that is when I realied what I did....Every since I was banded I have been diligent in what I stick in my mouth, but, I just forgot! I can't believe it. How can I forget something like that? Amazing how quickly I could revert back to the way it was by just not thinking!! The strange part is that I remembered that I should just have one...but, forgot that I physically can not do it! I mean my goodness, I have been banded for 6 months!! How could i just block it out like that? Anyone ever do that? Or am I the only one with short term memory loss?

Laura-good GOD you are so pretty!! I can really see a difference in the pics and you look great!! (I wish I had your hair) I hit the motherload at my sisters. Clothes, shoes, purses and perfume. I really needed that! Alot of the clothes did not fit but just the purses alone were worth the drive....she gave me 6 purses and still had a rack full left!! Must be nice...but, I am so grateful for what I got!!

As of Thursday, I am officially in onederland...God it seemed to take forever....I am still on cloud 9!!!

Good grief Jennifur...you are probably thinking "where does it all end?". Sorry about the insurance!! How is your aunt doing? Well, it is raining here this morning. I want to go back to bed, but Macy (dd) has different plans...not surprising for a 4 year old though. Frank (dh) has to work today so if it stops raining I may go see my mom and stop by my sisters house because she has been getting some clothes together for me that I can have. That is exciting cause she has really good taste in clothes. She is the type that has socks the color of her shirts and shoes that go with everything....so I am excited. I am more of the white tennis shoes and white socks go with everything and it is cheaper. She has no kids and a great job so she gets to spoil herself. Everyone have a great day!
