Jenn-love the dress!! Really pretty!! DH decided to do both....christmas shop today, casino tomorrow! WHAT FUN!!!

Michelle-I like that dress BUT I lov love the one 2 clicks over...the velvet one. What's important is what you like and how you feel in it! Whatever you wear, you will be stunning!! ((((hugs)))) Good morning violets! I am having my morning coffee and trying to decide which store to hit first this morning. Right now (yes 6:00 AM) me and dd are up watching Charlie Browns Christmas. She woke up at 4:45 this morning. I thought I was hearing things! This time change has her (us) so screwed up it isn't even kind of funny! I wanna go to the casino so bad this weekend but that would be dumb on my part (but fun). I need to stay focused...shop, shop, shop. I am in the mood to play play play. I wonder what thought will win...LOL I will let you all know what I decided. lol

Michelle-congrats on your -65 and bandiversary!! wooohooo!!:clap2: Jennifur-I know the feeling, the first night we had our new leather sofa...our cat decided to jump on top of the back of it, realized he had not jumped high enough and used his toenails for traction sliding all the way down....ARGH!! Hi Laura, Haydee, Terri, Kat, Judy, Pamela, Janie, Denise and all of you other wonderful violets I may have forgotten!! I wanted to have tomorrow off so I go in my boss' office and said MY...you sure look nice today and he bursted out laughing and said what do YOU want? LOL Sooooo, needless to say, flattery gets you everywhere, so I am off tomorrow:biggrin1:. I am going christmas shopping. I have not bought anything yet! DD is going away to my moms and my sisters for the weekend. The goal is to get everything for christmas while she is gone! Hmmm, can't think of anything else to say....but if it is like normal, I will hit "submit" and then think of something I was going to say! Have a great night everyone!

Welcome Cindy!! Post away on the best thread this site has to offer (I may be a little prejudiced) Good morning Violets! Our credit manager (Scott) at work had a tragedy in June or july and he woke to his wife (in her early 40s) having a massive heart attack. He ended up putting her in a long term care facility. She was in a coma and on life support. Well, Sunday night she passed away. They have a 12 year old son. Please keep them in your prayers during this difficult time. thn the same day one of our retired salesman had his wife pass away also. It has really been depressing to say the least. It also makes me realize ho lucky and blessed I am. I am so thankful! Everyone have a wonderful day!

Good morning Violets- well..the fun & games are over until the next set of holidays...UGH, Monday! My helper from work just called me and said she has a double ear infection so I am dropping her off some antibiotics on my way to work and then I get to do it (the work) all by myself!! YAY, just the way I love to start the week off! Oh well, it will be interesting to say the least. I have done it all by myself before, so I know I can do it again, I just don't want to but duty calls! At least the day will go by quickly! On the upside, I did not gain weight over the holidays (sorry for those that did). I did not lose any but that is not surprise, I am just glad I didn't gain! Everyone try to have a great Monday! (((hugs)))

Judy-that sounds awesome! I wish I could do te same but we do not have a spare room. I was going to make soup too but dh wanted wings, so, wings it was! We have our tree up...it is artificial but it is nice. We are retiring it this year. We have had it since '03 so it has gotten good use. I prefer real trees and now that I no longer have my cat, (I had to have him put to sleep) we can get a real tree next year. We are going to wait until tomorrow to decorate it. It will give us something to do on the rainy day... Everyone have a great night.

Hi everyone...I am here, just sitting around doing nothing and listerning to it pour down rain outside. It has been raining all day and the forecast is the same for tomorrow. Wish I could sleep all day but that is impossible with a 4 year old!! i will check in later...

Jenn-never heard of that kind of liquor before...what is it? Well, I did eat like a cow...I am glad I did because I realized something very important...I can eat more than I should which means, I need a fill. Nothing I ate got stuck...and I ate way more than a cup, so , Dr Spivak here I come!! It was a learning experience (that I enjoyed tremendously at the time). I need to go do some grocery shopping today. I need to do it today because it is supposed to rain rain rain Saturday & Sunday! Have a great day everyone!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING VIOLET SISTAS!!! I have cooking to do then we are leaving for the hours and a half journey to my sisters. I hope the traffic does not slow us down! DH can not go because he is working today Take care everyone! Judy & Pamela-I am not sure if I will be able to graze all day, but it sounds good!

Tim McGraw (that good lookin' sucker) Faith Hill (the good lookin' suckers wife) Chris Daughtery Nickelback Creed Carrie Underwood Lionel Richie Aerosmith and please don't laugh at this one, but I love Michael Jacksons old music, Bad, Thriller, Off the Wall... Oh, and Barbara Streisand. As you can tell, I like it all. Even classical... I am so happy for the 4 day weekend! Everyone have a great & blessed holiday! Oh, footnote....I will be a PIG tomorrow. I am gonna graze like a cow all day long. I have not done that since April and I probably won't do it again until next year. I am going to eat until I am physically sick....just thought I would confess now!!

Kat-glad to hear that you are doing & smelling better I had an older hispanic man at work yesterday tell me (in very broken English) that I didn't need to lose any more weight cause I looked skinny & pretty. I wish you could have heard him because he was so sincere and was trying to make himself clear on his point. So sweet! Made me feel good, especially since the scale is on indefinite hold for now...lol Take care everyone!

Good Monday morning violets! A 3 day work week....I can handle that! It is supposed to be really cold here for Thanksgiving...a 50 high around here is COLD! As long as the rain stays away for at least that one day since I have to be on the road would be great! Everyone have a great day!

My perspective...skip it if you don't wanna hear it! Well, since it is TOM, I eat..and eat. not to the point I used to, but things I shouldn't have. But, I am not going to let it get me down. Why...because I am a winner! I am not a super human. If I were, I would not have gotten out of control to the point I had to get the lapband, BUT...I am in control of this. I decide what to eat. If it is the wrong things, then I am the one that pays the price. Maybe the gals that are in the funk need to cut themselves a break. Take it easier on yourselves. Tomorrow is a new day. It is very easy to let the scale not moving get you down, believe me, I know. But you know what? We are all losing weight. Maybe a pound or 2 or even 10 come back on, but we are in control of it, and it will come back off. Why? Because we are violets, that is why! I have never "met" such an outstanding, determined, sexy group of ladies in my whole life!! We are violet sistas....hear us ROAR! OK...corny maybe, but true, or at least that is my honest opinion!!!
