This is the link http://instagram.com/yourcloset1 you can go visit and look at some of the pictures to get a idea of how it works. And thats a picture of mines. Its a side pic, so you really can't see the front but its similar to bra hooks. It helped my stomach a lot. Im going to attach a before picture so you can see the difference.

Ree got a reaction from Ms skinniness in My husband must think this surgery = no stomach at all!
Apparently since having my surgery I am invisible. I go ahead and make dinner a little early because my husband has to head to work. I have my dinner after he leaves so I can eat slowly without interruption. Tonight we are having chicken breast (which I'm able to ground up) and my daughter and him have noodles with it. So he is chowing down on his meal and I turn to him and asked him " you made sure to set aside some chicken for me right?" and his response "um no I didn't know you wanted me to" really?? what am I invisible? just because I had a large portion of my stomach removed doesn't mean I don't have a stomach at all. I do need to eat to survive. This is the second time this week he has done this, takes all the food, even after I tell him to take what he wants but to save some so I have something to eat later. Everything goes in one ear and out the other with him. So glad I asked him mid eating if he saved me any. So he proceeded to set aside his half eaten chicken for me.

Are you familiar with instagram? Thats where I ordered mine. Search yourcloset1 I think she also have a website not sure. She emails you the invoice and you pay through paypal. Shipping is 3 days I think. Its better to have while you are losing the weight. I find it very good when excercising. Keeps everything in place.

Ree got a reaction from Idlewood4 in Yummy easy chocolate & peanut butter treat w/ calcium!
This isn't really a recipe but I wasn't sure where else to put this. If you have a sweet tooth for something with chocolate and Peanut Butter then try this: 2 adora chocolate Calcium disks and 1 tbsp. of PB2. Spread the made PB2 over each disk and enjoy!
I buy adora Calcium for my everyday calcium and vit. D supplement but adding the PB2 is great when I have a craving for Peanut Butter cups (my favorite chocolate candy).
For 2 chocolate disks it's 60 calories and 1 tbsp. of PB2 is 23 calories. For a total of 83 calories.

I understand that but I need to work on one thing at a time and right now I am working on not turning to food for comfort and trying something else that works. This works and my husband hates it when I spend money so now he knows that if he upsets me he is going to lose money so he has been a lot more careful about upsetting me. So it works! Plus, honestly I am not a spender by nature but in the future I do plan to shop (and not on the internet!) but I will be putting limits on myself, giving myself an allowance that works within our budget.

Laura, well said. It's not a one size fits all.
I was the same way with cigarettes when I smoked. I quit and after 9 months had 1 and was right back where I had been before I quit. It took me many times to quit. I knew it was like alcohol to an alcoholic one and hooked. I am happy to report that it has now been 28 years since I have had a cigarette.

    Laners,
We got you, I know how hard it is not to stuff this hurt and sadness down with food. But I'm so proud that you are here talking about it.
We now need the courage to sit with our sadness to hold it out in front of us look at it, recognize it, go through it..
Sitting with our sadness and hurt takes the courage to believe that we can bear the pain and the faith that we will come out the other side.
With courage, allow yourself to cycle through the hurt with full permission to experience it.

Were you all required to do a pre op diet? I had my pre surgery screening a couple of days ago and they only said I needed to drink Clear Liquids the day before and nothing after midnight on the day of the surgery. It just seems like many are required to do the pre op diet.

My husband goes back to work today too, leaving me with our eight year old twins and our four year old. It'll be a lot of "sure you can play video games!" "yes to tv!" in our house today!

Today I am 4 days post op and still in a lot of pain. My husband has to go back to work today so I'm on my own with my 3 year old. Hopefully she will behave for me because physically I am unable to care for her to my full potential but I have no choice.
I also weighed myself today for the first time and I lost 10 pounds since surgery day. I'm very happy with that number!

Hey everyone, still in the hospital but should be going home tomorrow afternoon. I requested my own room but there were none available and so I ended up with the most annoying roommate EVER!!! To start with the recovery floor is not just for bariatric patients, its for anyone who got any type of surgery. So this roommate kept asking me to get up and help her and when I tried to explain to her that I'm unable too, she got mean! Then she kept grabbing the curtain that separates us and pulling it back so I had to call the nurse for help. Finally they put her out in the hallway. Gosh the last thing I needed to deal with right after getting surgery.
So after surgery I was in so much pain, it was horrible! That whole first day was
Bad but it was worse when iI had to get up out of bed. My suggestion to all you pre sleevers is to walk when you get up to you the restroom. I was only able to do a half lap that first day but the second day I did 17 laps (a little more than a half mile) so feeling much better the second day.
I was not allowed anything by mouth until 24hrs after surgery, and then they gave me Water. They said no ice chips because it tends to cause more nausea in patients. I've done well with the water so far and tonight they gave me an Unjury shake which was good. So far no vomiting but the nurses have been keeping me on pain and anti nausea meds around the clock. Well I'm off to do some more walking so good luck to anyone getting the surgery today or tomorrow.
