  1. I haven't been able to get on here lately, I've been so busy. Please don't remove me from the challenge. Today's weight was 145 (which I am super happy about because it seems like I had been in a weight stall for a while now and the scale is finally moving again in the right direction).
  2. I'm in! Current weight: 147 Challenge goal weight: 144 My weight has really started to stabilize lately but I would still like to try and lose more.
  3. Challenge goal met! 148 today.
  4. No weight loss this week. Still 149.
  5. I just got done watching the biggest loser finale and I gotta say it feels pretty good to know I beat the at home prize winner. Jordan lost 44.??% , I lost 45.87% since starting this journey. It sure isn't easy but its worth it. When I first started out I could barely walk for 10 minutes before being out of breath and needing to rest. Now I walk anywhere from 12 to 15 miles a week on my treadmill, plus an additional 2.5 to 3 hours of stretching exercises each week. It's much more difficult to lose the weight now but as long as I can see some improvement it keeps me going and motivated. I know stalls will happen, I just have to keep pushing forward because I never want to be so unhealthy ever again.
  6. 149. Finally in the 140's!!
  7. Today 150. I was really hoping for 149 at least, I've been working out a lot but I guess this is just the way it goes. It's a loss so i'll take it.
  8. Reporting late, sorry. Yesterday's weight: 152 Challenge goal weight: 148 (I've been struggling lately so I would be happy to lose a pound a week at this point).
  9. I'm in! I'll come back on Monday to post my current weight and goal weight.
  10. Final weigh in: 152
  11. Congrats on your weight loss. It looks like we were sleeved on the same day. I just celebrated my 1 year surgerversary yesterday too. And had my 1 year check up yesterday as well.
  12. Today's weight: 152 which also means I am no longer considered 'obese' by the medical community. I had my 1 year surgerversary yesterday and I also had my 1 year check up yesterday. It felt great to be told I was considered a success in the program.
  13. today's weight: 154
  14. 156 No change this week.
  15. Today's weight: 156
  16. Celebrated my daughter's birthday last week and you would have thought I was the star of the show, not her. A lot of people who were there had not seen me in a while, some that haven't seen me since before surgery. Everyone was raving about how good I looked, many had their jaws to the ground and just couldn't believe it. I have lost over 100 lbs and worked hard to get here so it felt pretty good to get all the compliments. Keep working hard, you'll there too (if you haven't already) and it'll be well worth all your hard work. Keep your head in the game!
  17. Todays weight: 158 Challenge goal weight: 149 I would really like to be in the 140's by the new year!
  18. Count me in! These challenges help keep me on track. I'll post my weight and challenge goal weight on Friday.
  19. 159 Still tracking even though I reached challenge goal last week.
  20. This exactly! I use to love eating breads, pasta and my favorite... rice! But after I was sleeved I knew those habits needed to be broken and now that I am 10 months post op I still avoid them. I let them in my home for my family but while they are eating chicken and rice, I'm just eating the chicken and while they are eating pasta and meatballs I'm just eating a meatball with a little bit of sauce and when they are eating a sandwich I just roll up my lunch meat into some cheese and eat it that way with maybe a side of mustard to dip into. You learn as you go along and eventually it all becomes second nature to you.
  21. Today's weight: 160 Halloween challenge goal reached!
  22. Just wondering how much everyone is averaging for weight loss each month if you are at least 6 months out from surgery? I seem to be averaging about 7 pounds of weight loss each month. Its been pretty steady for several months now.
  23. 161 today I am 1 pound away from reaching my challenge goal!
