What 8 days and 17 pounds gone forever looks like.

I just had surgery on 5/4/13 I had a great experience with de F. Garcia I paid $4700 it included transportation, 2 nights in the hospital and 3 nights in the hotel !

It only takes about 2 weeks!! I just had my surgery on 5/4/13 with Dr. Garcia

I'm still hungry and I hate it !! I'm one week post-op has surgery on 5/4/13 , I had this surgery to not feel hungry and its not working

Today is my 1 week post-op and I have lost a total of 18 pounds including my 10 day pre-op diet!!! I'm so happy , its hard but well worth it.

So after having a really crappy day, my son came home from school with a Mother's Day plant for me!! Totally a surprise this year I didn't even know they were doing one! He threw away all of the flyers!! He used his own money to buy it! He gave me a huge hug and said thank you for getting healthy for me!! (I also quit smoking 8 months ago!!) he totally made my day and made the sadness of what happened this morning all go away! I now know without a doubt I made the right decision!!!

I'm going with Dr. Garcia with Ready4achange! I'm super excited and have heard nothing but AWESOME things about him out of Tijuana (Florence Hospital)....can't wait till my date on July 8th!

Sitting in hospital parking lot getting all kinds of nervous. I know this is the right choice for me just very nervous now that it's time. Please say a prayer for me and I'll post when able. Thanks!!!!!

Ok thank you ! I'm not used to sleep in my back so maybe that can be it!!

Yippee! For the first time in 13 years I am under 200lbs! I did a happy dance after I got off the scale this morning!

my surgery is 5/4/13 I'm ready

Hey guys well I started doing this whole process May 18 2012 and still have not gotten surgery as of yet. It will be a year soon but I'm praying to god that by the end of May beginning of June I will finally be able to get sleeved. My setback was not having my sleep study done in time. I had to switch over from surgeons and now I'm my doctor is Dr. Bagloo of Valley Hospital. All I need to do now is get my CPAP machine and then I will finally be able to schedule my surgery date with her. Fingers & toes crossed that this all goes well.

My pre op diet starts 4/11 and surgery is 5/2

My surgery is 4/23/13; pre-op diet starts 4:9. Getting closer!!!!

PACK LIGHT! Loose fitting pants/ work out pants and t shirts. I didn't care what I looked like honestly. If you're at florence, they give you slippers that you can keep. If you're going alone bring your electronics. The staff will tie and lock your items in the hospital safe and will open everything in front of you. Travel sized toiletries. I left with something for gas, they give it to you at discharge. Oh...bring a pill crusher. You will have to take antibiotics.

I'm on my second pre-op day too and oh boy is hard but we can do this I know is all going to be worth it !!!
