  1. I don't like sashimi
  2. If your insurance requires you to lose weight with the 6 month diet you can be denied. My insurance requires you to lose weight. Not sure how much but I'm sure ill be told on my first appointment this month. I'm told if you're at least close to the goal they let you slide
  3. What brand of shampoo and conditioner do you use?
  4. I have my eval with surgeon may 21st. What was your experience with that? I have a 8 page packet to fill out and on it is a check list of some diets. I noticed I've only done a few of the ones listed. I haven't lost more than 20 pounds on the diets I have tried and I'm worried they are going to say I haven't tried enough..I know me well enough to know other diets aren't going to help..I need restriction, motivation and hope and I know this surgery will do that for me. There is also a page asking me to write why I want this, I'm wondering if I should write the whole needing restriction, motivation and hope in there
  5. I wonder about that too. I have ADHD and require meds to sleep at night =\
  6. I really wanted a before bed sandwich but the cat box needed to be done so I cleaned that first and I wasn't hungry anymore LOL
  7. Yeah it's true, you're supposed to wait at least 30 mins after eating. It's going to be a real challenge for me cause the only time I really drink is with meals.
  8. What's your personal pouch maker called? My aunt buys the veggie pouches and sneaks them into her cooking so my cousin gets his veggies in.
  9. I have all the codes for tummy tucks, arm lifts, thigh lifts,Breast lifts and they can't tell me if they cover them they can only tell me if I need pre otherization =.= I have trillium which is state insurance for Oregon..
  10. I don't have money for surgery i don't have money for surgery =\
  11. I must have like 50 marks on my stomach.. Everywhere but my belly button...sucks that they never go away:(
  12. Do stretch marks go away? I've had them for about 5 years, some newer than others but my whole stomach is covered cause basically all my weight is in my tummy and boobs. Which brings me to the next question. I have DDD when you ladies lose weight do the boobs shrink? Or just become inflated flabby balloons...I really hope I won't have to wear a few bras to hold all the skin...
  13. The study doesn't work on my because I am nocturnal
  14. Any good recipe books for this surgery I can buy on amazon?
  15. So I have ADHD and cannot sleep at night with out meds.. I also have mood stabilizers so are you allowed to bring and take those during you hospital stay?
  16. The only way I can eat fish is smothered in ketchup or with rice >.< I'm going to be so miserable
  17. i can't stand most fish but the kinds I do like I like with rice because it takes some of the fishy taste away
  18. oh I didn't know about the sugar and mayo
  19. Is it healthy? I get that rice is unhealthy but idk if I can give up sushi or rice!! I am not a sweets person and I can live without pasta, bread and potatoes but damn can't I have 1 thing that I love in my life?!? I like to have jasmine rice with a lot of my meats and veggies...I was also told its not good cause its hard to chew up...what about purée? idk I just really love rice/Asian food
  20. They gave me two packets to fill and one was for the bariatric team to approve or deny me the other was to take to my first appointment if approved. I'm assuming its for them to see if my insurance even covers my surgery if I fell into all the requirement cause it asked for my insurance information and what kind of health issues I have. If anyone else or everyone else had to do this how long does it usually take for them to get back to you? On the paper it said applications are done in order of received and I filled mine out at the seminar but just curious.
  21. This is kinda unrelated but did you get flabby skin? I'm 5'2" and 260 so we are kinda the same. Really sorry to hear you are having troubles now.
  22. Yeah....I always over worry myself and am pessimistic, that way if things don't go right I don't feel as bad lol
  23. I hate trick questions....they have a test to apply for walmart and I took it just to see if I could pass and I failed..twice...I'm not a people person but I did one with my own answers then one with what I thought was right...so the eval worries me because I'm actually on ssi for mental disorders...nothing psychotic but it still worries me lol
  24. I'm afraid of the IUD cause I hear If you haven't had kids they have to inspect to see if its going to fit right but I don't want anything falling out or going through walls >.< I have never had kids so I chose the shot but I have been on it for years and If used for a long time it can cause bone density. So idk what to use now, I hated the ring and I can't remember pills lol
