  1. Awesome! Good for you!
  2. I felt human again...when I was able to eat a bite of a scrambled egg & a bite of toast (about 6 weeks out or so)...I am now 6 months out....
  3. I told no one. I am so glad I have told no one. People can be mean, intentionally & unintentionally.
  4. Glad you are okay. Awesome on your loss. Congrats.
  5. Still, Highway to Hell by AC/DC...sleeve life just isn't for me, but what is done is done!
  6. Best ...a person told me I looked like the old me again & was acting like the old me, again....meaning my high school/college days - looks & outgoing personality...I don't see anything remotely close to that yet, but this person was sincere...so, I must be doing a little better than I thought. WORST - "you have lost 80 some lbs, so you need to lose that much more & you'll be looking good, girl, right?" - such an @$$hole!!!
  7. I have done a collage before...old pics of myself (good & bad), pictures of outfits, clothes, shoes, undies, jewelry, etc. I would like to wear, pictures of hair styles...I didn't spend a lot of time on it, but I still have it up in my bedroom beside a summer dress I want to fit in to next summer for the beach. Best of luck to you.
  8. Hey, I am about the same age & single, too! lol It is a tough road. The first month is pure hell. Walk, walk, walk as soon as you get out of surgery - even though it will be the last thing on your mind. Protein & water are crucial. I haven't had anyone really notice about my eating because I kept my surgery 100% private & everybody just thinks I am one of my diets for the billionith time. I exercise, but I know I will have some excess skin..no way around it really. I have a bestie who has had all the plastics...it's not worth it for the $$, scars, and the results, in my opinion. Best of luck to you.
  9. Congrats...your starting point size is what I want my end result to be!
  10. ...how hard the mental/emotional/psychological part of it actually is... Best of luck to you.
