  2. I had no preoop diet. My dr didn't require one and I never thought to ask. I enjoyed not having one, I spen the Friday and Saturday before my surgery saying goodbye to my favorite things that I know are bad and I should avoid forever now.

  11. I got mine done in January about a week before my surgery. It took less then 7mins and It was done by the same dr doing my sleeve so I knew right away that everything was fine and good to go. Good luck with yours!! :-)
  12. I love soda. One of the first things I asked my NUT and dr was if I could have soda again afterwards. My NUT said its bad for you and not to have it again, but my dr said if I wait till about 3-4 months out and drink it flat I could. Personally I love soda, but not flat, so I will go without I guess.

  15. I didn't binge or anything but my last couple days before surgery I ate all my favorite foods knowing it would be a long time or never before I could have them again. Like for dinner the one night I had black and bleu steak. I had hot wings for lunch the one day..... Stuff like that.
  16. I would ask you NUT see what they say, I was told no alcohol for a minimum of 6months but everyone's dr and NUT are different...

  18. I have been using my cpap for 8yrs now. I stopped using the humidifier about 3years ago and once I got use to not using my dry mouth has one away for the most part.
  19. I am always cold since I started losing weight..... I keep a couple blankets on my sofa now at all times, and when I go back to work on 2/18 I am taking another blanket with for at my desk
  20. I just broke down a few days ago myself, stay strong and when you make it through this you will look back and grow from this!!

  22. I keep on going up and down, I was sleeved on 1/28. This website has really helped me a lot on the down days! I am so glad I found it! I didn't realize it would be like this I was so excited before hand. Then I got home and it's like everything hit me all at once.
