  1. I did clear liquids for 2days then full liquids for 10days. Now I am on soft foods and purees for 21 days.
  2. It is worth it! I have had some ups and downs right after I got sleeved but I am definitely happy I got it!
  3. I was sleeved on 1/28 @450lbs, as of 2/15 I was at 416lbs
  4. I was up and walking in less then 3hrs. Now the gas part sucked, but the walking helps a lot with that!! You will do great, we are all scare before hand. Keep us posted!!
  5. I almost left the hospital on the day of my surgery...... I am so glad I didn't though. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I am happy so far with my results and I know in the long run this will be what's best for me and my family. If I would of kept going the way I was I would of died. I was 475lbs preop and things in life were getting difficult. To go out to eat I had to make sure it was a place that had tables, I couldn't fit in a booth. Going to an amusement park sucked I couldn't fit on any rides and the walking made me very tired. Even movie theaters weren't fun, some seats were to small. In the end you just have to measure all the bad stuff vs all the good stuff that will come and make sure it will be worth the risks.
  6. I was 475lbs preop, on the day of surgery 1/28 I had gotten down to 450lbs. My last check up was on 2/15 and I was at 416lbs.my goal is 200-220lbs, but even with the amount I have lost already I feel so great. I look forward to losing more!! I had some ups and downs right after the surgery wondering if I had made the right choice or not, but as time goes on I am positive I have made the right choice.
  7. Wow, congrats! I would of known that was you! Great work!!!
  8. Some of my family have said this to me, I just explained to them that I am tired of all the yo-yo dieting, and that this will help with that and if they don't like it don't let the door hit you on the way out.....
  9. Good luck, ill keep my fingers crossed for you! :-)
  10. I hate getting put under, the surgery itself didn't scare me it was getting put to sleep. I had no issues though. The person that will put you under stays the whole time from the time they put you under till you are "woken up" you will do great!!
