Hi, we are getting Sleeved the same day and I'm freaking out a bit also. I have no words of Wisdom to offer but I have had surgery before and the anesthesiologists are always very attentive they monitor everything to make sure you are comfortable and safe. Also the sleeve gastrectomy is a short 45 to 60 minute procedure (i know you know this, just a reminder) so you will not be under for a long time.

I hate getting put under, the surgery itself didn't scare me it was getting put to sleep. I had no issues though. The person that will put you under stays the whole time from the time they put you under till you are "woken up" you will do great!!

Good point we won't be under that long...GOOD LUCK TO U!!! :)

I'm on the 20th as well and I have pre-op tomorrow. I'm with you - pretty nervous. Every time I think about it my stomach lurches lol. I can't let my fear get the best of me though. I've come too far to back out now. I know we will all do great! Good luck to you! :)

Good luck hope everything goes well and wishing everyone a speedy recovery!

Good luck to all of you. Wish I was that close to surgery date. I know you will all do good. I can only imagine that you are nervous as should be expected but on the other hand how exciting to know that you are getting ready to start a new chapter in your life.

You guys will do awesome!!! I've had anesthesia before and it was nothing!! No worries :)
