Hello everyone. I have a question. How long after surgery did you notice a change in your weight?

Hello there. I'm only 8 days out and I have lost about 6 lbs since surgery.

I lost 9 lbs the first week. Some people actually gain weight because of all the IV fluids in the hospital.

Yea, the IV - they pumped about 8 lbs into me in 2 days. But I was down 10lbs by the end of the first week.

I lost 18 pounds the first month, then about 4 pounds the second, and after that I lost 9 pounds every month till around 9 months post op...after that it was weird...some months I would lose 12 pounds and others I wouldn't lose any. Everyone is different though. Good luck!

I came home from the hospital up 10lbs. I lost those 10 plus 2 more week one. Week 2 I lost about 10.

Wasn't until about day 4 - 5 before the numbers started going down. Loaded with IV fluids and who knows what else!

I lost 15 in about 11 days. The scale hasn't moved in the last 4.

I was sleeved on 1/28 @450lbs, as of 2/15 I was at 416lbs

Wow, thank you everyone. Just really curious. You all have been really helpful. Is there anything that I should know about the surgery? I'm gonna stay over night but worried about what I should know.
