  1. I think that is correct, I was 450lbs ( bmi=67 ) on 1/28 the day of my surgery. As of 2/15 I was down to 416lbs (bmi=61.4) That's a loss of 34lbs in 18days...... I know I won't lose like this forever but I am enjoying it while I can........ My goal weight is 220-200lbs
  2. Congrats and good luck!!
  3. I have been on my cpap machine since 2005, it takes a little while to get used to it but once you do, sleep is so much nicer. I rarely feel tied at all, it's easier to concentrate, and I feel better all around. My son thinks I look like darth vader though.....
  4. I was unsure of this when I started. My pre surgery weight was 475lbs. The day of my surgery I was at 450lbs, that was on 1/28. I went for a checkup with my dr on 2/15 and I was at 416. So in a little less the 3 weeks I lost 34lbs!! That still amazes me! I know it won't always come off this fast but I am beginning to realize that as long as I stick to the dr instructions I will finally be able to lose weight and keep it off. Good luck on your journey!!
  5. Ummmmmm Pb cups....... Anything with chocolate and peanut butter rocks!
  6. Congrats, it's very encouraging to hear stories like yours!!
  7. I dieted by choice as soon as I started going to the weight loss center I went too. When I got sleeved on 1/28 I had lost 25lbs already but I didn't have any special preop diet, and I kinda celebrated my last weekend enjoying my favorite foods..... And the did mine without opening me up.
  8. I am 2 weeks post op and I think I have a fever, but I don't think it's from the surgery. I think I caught the flu. My whole family has had it except for me. Do you guys think I should call my dr?
  9. That's great, congrats!!
  10. I was in, out and awake in less then 15 minutes..... It's a very simple and fast procedure.
  11. This is such good news to hear, I thought I was gonna have to sip like this the rest of my life......
  12. Congrats on the loss!
  13. Congrats and good luck!! Let us know how everything goes.
  14. Check and see if it was mailed to the insurance company or faxed, I had an issue where my dr's office was mailing it, but it had to be faxed to a special number.......
  15. Keep up the great work, you will make it!!
  16. I've never had this happen, I would call the dr and see what they have to say about it.....
  17. I agree she was probably talking about slider foods. Protein is always a good thing!
