30th Birthday Help!

I am a month out and proud to say 31 lbs down. However my 30th birthday is right around the bend. Can I have even one glass of wine?? I know I can't eat out with my family? But a glass of Pinot noir would be nice. Opinions?

I would ask you NUT see what they say, I was told no alcohol for a minimum of 6months but everyone's dr and NUT are different...

Yep I agree!! We all have different plans and you will get all kinds of answers here. None of them "right" ask your doctor and HAPPY BIRTHDAY

My doc said two months, but not one single drop until then as you are still healing. You will have many more birthdays and many opportunities to have a glass of wine. Having one prior to fully healing isn't a great option.

yea seems iffy at a month but also 1/2 glass might have 3 times the effect post surgery because the absorbtion rate is now changed with the size of your stomach.

plus happy B-day

Talked to my NUT today and she told me to go ahead and have a nice night and a glass of wine with my friends. She said it is going to absorb differently so take it easy ;)
