  2. Nope..every dr is different...some had 1, some had 2...& some even had 3
  3. Yes, I brought a pillow for my tummy too...but really didn't need it because I wasn't that sore. I also brought a large bowl, & a towel in the car for the ride home...just in case I got sick...but thank goodness I didn't! But gotta think ahead! :-/
  4. I brought a robe for walking around! I slept most of the night of surgery & went home first thing the next morning...so really didn't need anything!

  16. My hubby has been amazing! He was concerned at first, thought it was a drastic step....but after he realized I was serious & wanted it he even put me on his insurance because mine didn't cover WLS. He also needs to loose weight, so he is living my high protein low carb lifestyle change & has lost about 35lbs! Changing together has been a blast!
  17. I can understand spouses being concerned, mine was too! & it would only escalate naturally if there were complications! But just as she has accepted that this was her decision...& it's a done deal...so should he! & should jump in & help her through this! I also feel that there were prob some stress issues prior to surgery, with a child with health problems there has to be, & I hope you guys get some professional help! That alone is enough to destroy a marriage, without the added stress of ANY surgery! I pray that your body will adjust & you will soon learn to adjust to your sleeve! (((Hugs)))
  18. I freely admit...I WAS addicted to food! I still want things that are unhealthy! The great thing about this surgery, for me at least, is that it has forced me to confront my food issues! Yes, I still have cravings...& yes I have & will give in to those cravings occasionally...but my sleeve has made it a lot easier to pass them by...& if/when I allow myself to indulge, it's just a couple bites & I'm done! I'm sorry some regret their decisions...but for me it was the best thing I have ever done for myself!
  19. Meeeee three!! I have never had to do the walk of shame...but I have FEARED it!!! :-(
  20. Yes, SAMs has them too! Sure wish Amazon would put them on sale again with no shipping! :-( I have them for breakfast too, I tolerate them better in the morning for some reason..
  21. Unjury has a good flavorless powder!
  22. & those protein shots are syrupy disgusting! One taste & I threw them in the garbage!
  23. Congrats! Yep, that's why I did it...I have 4 & I have to be able to keep up with them!!
