  6. Ok Its Official!!! April 28, 2005 I will be Banded!!! woohoo! I go to Colorado April 18th for a pre-op appt. and my last go out and stuff my face meal.. at the Texas RoadHouse Steak resturant... We dont have that here in NM so im looking forward to it. Tried to go there once and there was a 2hour wait ouch... i will call ahead this time... ANYWAY... April 28!!!!!!!!!! woohoo!!!!! No more wondering!

  12. I agree.. some people get a approval faster then others... Im with UHC and I have a BMI: of 62.9 I thought that I would never get approved... but finally I did... good thing to Im breaking down..... Fight them... ask why, who and where... you can do it... Good luck with it all.. let me know how things go okay!

  19. Chip dissovle because they are a Carb.. and your saliva glands dissovle carbs... just like it would if you held a popcorn in your mouth... Anyway... Have you tried cream soups? Maybe like spam, mayo, pickle, cheese.. blended up very mushy... like a fine sandwich spread... maybe blend a couple of your favorite fruits and pour it over cottage cheese for and sweet treat. thats all i can think of... Im sure more people with help with better ideas... Good Luck!

Crystal, I know its hard with this roller coaster ride you are going thourgh, and belive me I get a tight knot feeling down deep in my tummy when I think of my surgery and its not for another month and a half... Just try your best to relax, and if you need to cry then cry.. dont hold it in. And look at the success of your husband and let him be a support to you. You can get thourgh this I know you can!!!!
