But again It will be great to have some support from another bandster. Problems I have had with Dr. Smith and my surgery is.... a 2 hour surgery Pain in my stomach which he thought he cut a nerve, numbness in leg from being on the table to long, now my leak and hernia. I guess they all arent that bad considering it could so much worse... but I just want to be normal. I will be at Health South at 8:30 am on Dec. 22nd (Thursday) and I might have to stay over night.. It will be nice to meet you..

  12. its not that it can evaporate.. there can be air bubbles as well.. and when you get a fill it seems like there is say "2.0cc" but really there is only 1.5cc because of the air... Maybe Im full of air... but I know that there is a chance of air bubbles..... Thats just my idea of things...
  13. Opps, Yeah BTW I am having the surgery done in Pueblo... I will be there the 22nd or 21st.. not sure.. I will be at Health South Surgery Center.. off 101 I think... 14. Pat, it could happen from surgery... I was one of the lucky ones... I have something called Tubbler Tubbicle... somthing like that Hernia so its not like your normal lifting something heavy type... Carrie, Yeah.. Dr. Smith is the best Dr. I have had... he is the sweetest and most understanding.. but Him and I have had problems.. like I have been the biggest he did the surgery on.. and now this... it had been non stop with Dr. Smith and me... I will say he is the only Dr. I will give a hug too on my way out!!! and I love his smile!!! hehehe (you know what i mean) hehe
  15. Maureen, Thanks for the info. Im not to scared anymore... I know its small I can feel only a tiny bump so hopefully it isnt to bad. Kelly, I know a few days before Christmas seems harsh but it was really my idea to have it then.. with this semester of school ending and next semester of school starting on the 9th of Jan... and my Dr. only getting every other 2 weeks at that hospital it was the only time... I hope my recovery wont interfear with my Christmas.
  16. Well Im finally going in Dec. 22nd to get my leaky port replaced. He is putting it under a Hernia surgery and while hes in there he will replace my leaky port. My question is.. Has anyone had Hernia surgery? and if so what was it like? It will be a few days before Christmas and I dont want to be in to much pain. But I guess if I have to it will be worth it in the end. Thanks for any information!
  17. I drink coffee.. with Splenda and reg. creamer

I have a leak... I have NO restriction. And the last time I went in for a fill I was sure I had 2.2ccs but he only took out 1.4cc then he poked and poked I could hear it grind on the port.. anyway... he put in a full 3ccs nothing... he put another 3ccs nothing... he pulled out .5ccs opps.... a leak... thats how i knew
  20. It wonderful to hear from you, and that you are doing okay... Thanks for checking in
  21. Thank you, your such a sweetheart!
  22. No never! Even with my leak I dont know what I would do without my band! I even get mad at her somedays... but in the end... my band is my best friend!
  23. Well I think... I hope I will be in Pueblo on Dec. 22 getting my port replaced.. I will hear back from Carla this week to make sure. I will be at Health South Surgery Center.. I hope it will only be a day surgery. But if Dr. Smith goes in to fix my Herina then I will be there over night. I cant wait to get this fixed..
  24. WOW Miracles do happen.. God was watching over you!!! This is such wonderful news!!! Im so happy for you ((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) woohoo
  25. I was there at 3:30... thats normally when I make my visits, since I have to travel. what caused my leak was him poking a hole in the side of my port... and now Im just waiting for a hospital that will take me.. ugh!!! Yeah next time im there I will let you know. I normally stay at the Hampton Inn there next to Cracker Barrel... its a pretty nice place.
