Just curious if anyone does weight watchers post op?
Hi Bos123, Actually my list given by surgeon is the same form of eating as Wieght Watchers. But, will be counting calories instead of points. However, if you are really concerned with this stall.... I would call your surgeons or nutritionist office. Over the past 6 months I have hit 3 stalls. Each one lasting 2 weeks. I feel you in that they are hard and frustrating. What has helped me is that I know that it is normal. Our bodies have been through a Major change. And it needs time to adjust itself. Also, during my stalls I have lost inches and that helps!!! Best wishes to you!!! Keep your chin up!! This stall will pass!!!

Hi.shribhi from chennai ,india considering sleeve and wanting to talk to people who got it done.
This explanation says it best. I was sleeved 6 months ago....amazing results, I had no hunger in the beginning. Now I feel empty when it is time to eat. It is a different feeling. I know I need to get some nutrition in me. I wish you all the best! Tina

Well dang it is just hard.... I feel you! I have hit a couple of stalls along the way. What really helped me was I knew during the stall I was losing inches. I also had to remind myself that it took several years to put the weight on and will not come off overnight. Hang in there .... this stall will break!

12 days post op and I am at a weight stall!
Actually I was on 2 protein shakes right after surgery, plus 3 meals. However, those meals were 1/4 cup of strained cream soups, lowfat cottage cheese. So I was consuming more calories. I would if you should be consuming more calories.... Good thing you have a appt. tomorrow. Best Wishes

For the first few months I took liquid vitamin supplements and it was nasty. I take sub lingual B12, And calcuim chews and those are fine. At 6 months out I I.take chewable centrium multi vitamin, It still is not my favorite but is tolerable.

Night before surgery
By the time my surgery date came I just wanted to get it over with. Only once did a fleeting thought go through my mind. It was just before they rolled me into surgery. The thought was... Tina what the heck are you about to do? My next thought.... Tina you are saving your life. And I was at peace with it. I hope you are able to have peace of mind as I did. Best Wishes

feeling like poop in the evening?
I felt that way... And I got so discouraged. I even asked the surgeon how long it would take to regain some stamina. He said it could take up to 2 months. And honestly it took me that long to be at full strength. Hang in there it gets better!

Help...I'm being deprived!
ReginaRings I feel you! I get how hard it is while preparing food for your family..... The only thing that helped me stay on track was telling my mind it was only for a few more weeks. I had to do that at every stage of the process until I got to solid food. The biggest battle was in my mind! A long as I kept that under control I did fine. You got this!!! Hang in there!

Home and protein
I drank and still drink 2 premier protien shakes. I have had low fat cottage cheese since the first week I got home, however, each Dr. Is different. They wanted us to have plain low fat yogurt but I just could not handle it.... I have never been a yogurt person.... I walked as much as I could when I got home..... Best Wishes to you!

Hanging skin
Hi.... Both are true actually. Our skin can be compared to a rubberband. We can only stretch it out for so long until it just will not go back to its original form. everyone s different.... Hope this helps....
