Vitamins?

My Dr told me to start taking vitamins and supplements 10 days out. Today is my first day and I got the multivitamin down fine. I tried crushing the others and putting them in my protein drink..... Disgusting!!!!! Any suggestions?

I am supposed to take the multi, iron, calcium citrate, b12 and zinc every third day for hair loss. There might be one more but I can't think of it right now.

Did your doctor tell you you have to crush them? If so, then follow his orders, if not then perhaps you don't need to? I've been swallowing all my pills including my tablets and they go down great.

For the first few months I took liquid vitamin supplements and it was nasty. I take sub lingual B12, And calcuim chews and those are fine. At 6 months out I I.take chewable centrium multi vitamin, It still is not my favorite but is tolerable.

The Dr suggested crushing them but I don't know how that's gonna work out. I'm kinda nervous about swallowing them! I haven't had anything solid yet. I guess I could try applesauce, like a baby haha

I'm having surgery Tuesday of next week & my nurse told me today I need to take chewable multi vitamins & iron & to avoid Flintstones & gummies. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ThAts funny I was told that I could take flintstones. Walgreens had a good liquid vitamin I like. I think Walmart has it to. Only thing is you have to supplement your iron.
