Now i understand wat i have read about the "the dont trust a fart" thing. Damn this gas. Am i the only one that cant stand Soup? Idk is the smell the taste it makes me nauseous.

36 years old and never...
been "normal" weight, or size
been the "skinny" friend
worn a bikini (or been waxed!)
swapped clothes with a friend
been married or had kids
been swept off my feet/carried
sat on anyone's lap
worn a LBD
worn shorts intentionally
been 100% confident in my relationships (I frequently find myself questioning motives - i.e. are they really interested in me, or is there something else) I'm really working on that one though... I'm gradually becoming more aware of my worth and all that I have to offer outside of my physical being. Maybe when my mind connects fully with my spirit, and my body catches up with everything else I'll finally find (or be found by) "the one"

I could probably go on forever and day listing my "nevers", but Im excited about the newest and most monumental "nevers" of my life...
Never have I had 80% of my stomach removed to improve my current and future life.
Never have I been willing to take such a huge step to do something just for ME

Had my surgery on da 19th of March. My sw: 253 cw: 237. Starting was 274 before I started da pre op diet. I've lost a total of 37 pounds so far

wow.. I was reading through the thread and have tears rolling down..
I.. turned 29 this January...
and have never...
really liked myself or let anyone like me.
been in a relationship since high school
shopped outside the plus size sections of a shop
owned a full size mirror (I hate looking at myself)
been not fat/obese since being a teenager
(this is really hard to admit) had sex! (i hate the way i look too much to let anyone near me)
been on a vacation wilingly..
believed that someone can be in love with me.. :wub:
and yes.. never been waxed
went zip lining.. i tried it last november.. but was turned down due to my weight
learnt to swim

But i do have one blessing.. my mother.. she actually went on the pre-op and the first few weeks of the post op diet with me to make me feel comfortable. I would not have made it through this surgery without her.

Hi Rosie! I envy that you are 21 and going to change the things you listed to things you will do! I am 35 and would give anything to have done this in my early 20s. You are going to be dressing in All the latest fashions and have lots of men swooning over you before you know it. As far as standing to work you will be running circles around that job... but trust me those jobs still suck lol.
Dont be sad , keep thinking of all the great things youre gonna be doing the rest of your life!

SLEEVED ON THE 19th and a NSV ... had my first bm on the 24th thanks to docusat.....anywho my first time on scale since surgery sw: 311 today wt 298...I will weigh myself once a week only....Thank God kids are on Spring break so I'm lucky to be preoccupied with everyday life and not on a scale.. Big shout out to all those March sleevers who gave in recognized their self worth, put themselves first for a change and did the damn thing...Happy to be loser...Keep your head held high my BariatricBeauties&Studs.

Fortunately, I'm not having trouble with the fluids. I am crushing up ice with water...mixing it with crystal lite and using a spoon to dip out of ice and liquid. It keeps me from sipping too fast and its more like a slushy. I love my Protein shakes! Already got in my 60grams of protein for the day. I drink Premier Protein from Sams/Costco. Inexpensive and taste really good. Try different things...and always sip sip sip! I know that feeling too...stomach just churns when you consume anything too fast!

6 days post-op- last night I was able to sleep on my right side. It was Amazing!!! I am close to getting the 64oz, yesterday I got to 61oz. This is probably TMI, but I also had 5 BM yesterday, and one again this morning... Lol

Thanks everybody this time I am excited, I know I will have no problem because Xanax does work. I havent even really told anyone except for you guys. I want to surprise them! Its gonna be on April 1st lol so Im gonna play a trick on Facebook lol I tried Xanax yesterday and I felt no fear! Thanks for your support!

Never walked around in a baiting suit (Not enough therapy in the world to get me into a suit like this)
Never been Scuba diving
Never had sex with the lights on or to ever let my BFs hands freely wonder
NEVER lived my life without the emotional chains of my weight holding me down.
Never smoked pot...(I may have to wait til I retire. I wish I had known then what I know know and tried is in HS.... lol)

Hi I'll be sleeved tomorrow. Excited! One more day of clear liquid diet whew. I'm surprised I'm not weak or shakey. Packing today and planting flowers with my kids to do something fun and distract me. Good luck to all of you!

Hi everyone one!! I have been checking this page out for a while!! I to am being sleeved on the 19th! I'm super excited yet very nervous!! I also was doing so great on the liquid diet then bam I went to panera with my mom had salad and French onion Soup and was so so sick! Then I cheated today! You would think I would have learned!! I'm so over food! I'm ready for it to not run my life anymore!!! We are almost to our brand new birthdays!! Wishing everyone great luck!!

Yes 3 more days and im in nesting mode! I just finished scrubbing my house to to bottom then warned my family that it better stay this way lol! My surgery is in New Iberia, la about two hrs away from where I live in new orleans. Going today to finish stocking up on postop groceries! Wish me luck

hey March sleevers mine is on the 18th I'm starting to get nervous I've lost 29 pounds in the last 3 weeks so ready to shed the rest please keep me in your prayers and let me know if there's anyone else having surgery on the 18th
