im on my pre diet lost 23 ilb in 9 days .. my surgery is feb. 7 im from chattanooga tn.

Guess where you are going to "fit-in" soon? Airline seats, theater seats, amusement park rides, kayaks, regular clothes...the list goes on and on!
Which is better? That, or being able to down a crapload of food?

Today is my LAST day of food! I feel sad and mad and glad! I go to Clear Liquids tomorrow with 4 Protein Shakes per day with only Water mixed in. Gross. I know this is the right decision for me but it doesn't make the jacked up relationship that I"ve had with food for my whole life any easier to break up!

Wow can't believe my surgery is in 6 days

i have short term .. but i havent been on my job for 12 months .. for fmla i work for a good company thats ok with time off

Woohoo guys it's getting close I'm sleeved on feb 4 and so happy excited and at the same time feeling overwhelmed to be starting a new chapter. In my life can't wait - god bless us all and much success and happiness

Doing well everyone. Heading into my first full week post-op. I'm down 17lbs from last Tuesday as of Monday morning! I can't believe it! Sick of Jello right now though. Any creative meal recommendations during the full liquid stage? How's everyone doing?

I live in Clarksville and was sleeved December 4. I love it I'm down from 240 to 207.

I was sleeved by Dr. Westmoreland ( love him by the way!). I didn't have any issues with the psyche evaluation. I went in talked to the lady for a little while and then took a test and answered some questions. Overall, very simple so I wouldn't stress about it.

Douglas congrats on getting your surgery date so soon. I was approved in November and scheduled for April

So the wife's surgery went great! She was sleeved on the 16th and is home in bed next to me now. She has some discomfort but is doing great! After watching her have it done I am so happy we made this choice! Now the 6th can't get here soon enough!!!

Feb. 4Th here. Set and ready. Start my pre op diet on Monday. Nervous. Moving to Louisiana in March. Western Nebraska is my current home. Im 24, 5'6 and 286 started at 313 last April. My bmi was 51 and now its 46. cant wait to see a average number I want to have kids and be able to enjoy them. I really want to be able to play with them and not have to sit on the sidelines. I have alot of obese friends with kids and I see them not enjoying their children add they would like to and I don't want to be like that. This is for my future and my future families. We want kids in about a year from now were gonna try.

I got my date today. Feb 25th. I'm so excited.

1 day post op and got home around 2:00 PM today. All is well-- no nausea or much gas. Walked all night and got little sleep. Glad to be going to my bed tonight. Removed drain right before I left and the insisions were glued not stapled so nothing to remove. Now I am sipping oh yeah shakes and crystal light Water -- 2 oz each per hour. No problems yet. All future sleevers-- nothing to worry about -- so far so good. We all need to name our sleeves-- I think I will call mine Sheila so if they act up you can just say Sheila is having a bad day. LOL.
