ASwinton got a reaction from pattivalvo in Sleeve revised to switch. No weight loss
You're more than welcome. From what I have read and heard from a lot of revision people, their loss and is slow, but it does come off.

I am 5 yrs post op sleeve, and 3 mons post op SIPS. I am loosing really slow in pounds, but inches are coming off. I was around 282 on day of surgery, and now I am bouncing between 263-267. Been fluctuating like this forever it seems. Although both my bariatric team and my nut are happy with my progress.

I had my sleeve Dec. 2012. Lost 120ish LBS, gained about 60 LBS of that back. I am now almost 2 mons out from conversion/revision to SIPS/SADI/LOOP. So far I'm doing good. I'm not sure how much I actually weigh at the moment or how much I lost. This time I'm only getting on the scale at any of my drs/nut appointments, I can say I went from a 4x/5x to a 2x.

I'm the opposite. I'm actually allergic to eggs and chicken, but for some reason just egg whites don't bother me too much.

It is. I use egg whites, a sprinkle of cheese for my scrambled eggs. That is generally my go to right now. I found the egg whites didn't sit as heavy as regular eggs.

That sounds yummy. I have one more week before I start purees. I think liquids are starting to get to me. I have one area on the right that keeps hurting, sometimes it hurts so bad it feels like it is on fire. My PA says that deep in there is another incision and I must be pulling it. She said for a lot of ppl that is where they hurt the most, and the longest. I'm glad to hear you're doing good.

To be honest I feel like crap. I didn't feel pain in the hospital, I never took anything, but today everything hurts. My legs, tummy, back and arms. Not what I was expecting for sure.

I just wanted to say hi. I am having SIPS on 9/11. I am praying yhat the swallow isn't as bad as when I had the sleeve done. I cried because it was thick and gross and I couldn't swallow it down fast enough and there were 4 ppl in the room fussing at me. I wish you much success and health.

I know there is a lot of controversy over it, but I swear by GENEPRO. It was recommended by my Dr. and Nut.

I have not been sleeved as of yet, my sleeve date is Dec. 10. But I can agree with you about the shaking in my boots. The closer it gets the more nervous I am getting. At first I was really calm and was more consumed with excitement now, it is really starting to sink in. I too am looking too loose about the same amount as you. Good luck.

    Rootman,
My husband said basically the same thing that the Dr. did not have the best of bedside manners. He must have realized it that after the fact because he called my Surgeon who called me and tried to calm me down. When I left pre-op I had pretty much freaked out to the point I was not doing the surgery. But I am calmer now and I know that I have come so far to let this scare me so bad not to follow through.

    Dark Ranger,
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. That is actually very comforting. Until today I never heard of anyone being awake for it, and I am trying to keep myseld calm and not think about it too much.
