Unfortunately that date will always be associated with what happened....but don't let fear and superstition deter you from moving forward in your life. There are plenty of blessings on that day as well, your surgeries, birthdays, etc. Stay positive and congrats on your upcoming surgeries ya'll! Be blessed.

Good Luck today you guys, walk walk walk a soon as you can! :)

How's everyone that had surgery? Recovery was a lot more painful than I had anticipated, I had sharp pains the day after when trying to sip water, I've just been trying to walk a lot and keep sipping water.

To be honest I feel like crap. I didn't feel pain in the hospital, I never took anything, but today everything hurts. My legs, tummy, back and arms. Not what I was expecting for sure.

Hi everybody, I did it! I had my RNY on Monday and I am in major pain. I'm am just so tired but I have been walking in my house but I might go out for a ride and a walk today.

Sipping water the first few weeks really hurts. I remember that very well. It does get better. Hang in there.

Hi y'all. Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I'm feeling better every day. Still have ine area in my belly that hurts a lot depending on my movement. Struggling to get my protein in, but get my liquids in. Ready for my puree stage to start for sure.

Everyday has been getting better, still soar from the incision above my belly button. I have only been getting down a protein drink a day so far. Excited to try puree tomorrow, thinking I'm going to try egg salad blended down. Hope your all doing great!
