Good Morning Gang I ran away with Trace for the weekend :smile: Oh Steph & Denise - I told him that I had to share with you guys - he said he would look you 2 up when he was in your hoods... :smile2: Really - I just didn't get on the computer - cuz when I do 3 hours goes by and I don't get anything done!!! Saturday - slept til 7:30 - then went to home depot bought 4 rose bushes and a rose tree - came home and started digging up old plant and planting bushes - just piddled in the yard - then went and got groceries. Yesertday - did my target shopping - put stuff up- washed - put up clothes - watched my Tivo'd ER & Lost shows and took a nap :wub: After Phyl called had to ck out my mentor thread - stuff going on there and heck it took 1 hr just to answer everyone' See what I mean about not getting anything done when you get on the computer before you know it 3 hrs has gone by... Due to the nap yesterday and the cup of coffee at 5:30 p.m. - I didn't get to bed til after 11 - so I am a bit tired myself this morning...

My Bad - - Age what can I say !!! - Car is an original 7/07 lucky #7 bander she was here originally then sorta dissappeared for a while and now is back :0) - and yes Donna our 7/08 baby... Congrats on the Good food day - Yes protein 1st is always the best way to get full fast Last night I didn't really eat bad just not super great but again I was super tired yesterday - BF SB bar 140 & spinach 35 - Lunch ham/cheese sandwich on lite bread 175 - Dinner - 1 1/2 beef rib 200 ? a grilled ham cheese sandwich 250 - Popcorn big bag 200 - few bites of this and that chips/hot sauce 300 c - sherbet ic cone 150 - juice 240 - min 1690 calories for the day - most likely closer to 2000 who know's what I am forgetting and I am forgetting something - oh ya 100 c cheese - Karri HAPPY ANNIVERSARY !!! Has it been a year already!!! Omw time sure flys - Have a great time in Vegas... Phyl Hope you don't blow away today !!!! We have been lucky this year hasn't been as windy as last year - but it sure was blowing last night and this morning... Have fun with Tracy - at least we do have sunshine.. BTW how much longer are you here??? When are you planning the trip home?? Karla - Hugs - one day at a time - and you can only do what you can do - We are hear for you... Well ladies (steph & denise especially) going to see MY MAN tonite - Yes that's right - I have a date with Trace Atkins tonite !!!! It's a sold out venue - sure glad that I got my tickets as soon as they went on sale (2/9 at 10:01 a.m :confused:) Well next week is a short week for me - we have Good Friday off and I am going to see DS and family for Easter - So I won't be around again next weekend :0) Need to get some work done - CBL.. Hey Brandy !!! What's Up !!! Ya we all need one kind of lift or another. .. You are doing great on your weight :smile2:- keeping pretty constance at a happy weight for you - I would say I am at my happy weight too - I like to keep mine between 138-140.. We only have 1 new member Karla - both Steph & Salsa have been with us for over a year now - and I think you have stopped in about 6 months ago.. Pop back in when you can - what are you doing to keep so busy???

Karla Hugs & Prayers for you and your family Steph You got me cracking up - I'm busy at work that's all :0) 12 miles a week isn't bad 3 miles x 4 = but for me any more than 15 would be pushing it - I do 3 to 4 miles on Tuesdays & Saturdays - now way am I going to walk 7.5 mile 6 days a week - that's just way too much exercise even for me :0)

Hey Gang Been busy this morning then went to lunch w/my GF candy.. Karla I was hungry when I got home from the hospital - I was cooking hamburger helper for my GS and I hate that stuff but it smelt so good.. I was lucky I was on full liquids when I got home from the hospital. Creams soups really help alot and you do get full on about 1/2 cup - If you like beans - make a pot of them (either pinot or navy) cook till done then scoop out the beans put them in a blender add a little of the broth - puree the crap out of them then add that mixture back to the broth - CREAM OF BEAN SOUP - It's a life saver cuz home maded stuff taste so much better than the canned stuff.. Phly - $399 That's fantastic - I think I would like to do a Alaska cruise in Aug - but I heard you can't gamble on those cruises - it that true??? I watched idol last night - agree Matt didn't do well - Loved Kris (last guy) Adam does look so much cuter clean cut - or maybe our age is showing :smile2: he sorta looks like Kurt Russell don't you think?? I think the finally will be Danny & Adam - Little rocker chick (16 yr old) and lil rounds didn't do well either. My fav last night were Adam & Kris I want to hear what Earl has to say when you tell hin "Janet said it was ok" - He's going to say - She's not a doctor Candice - Yep I'm back - I really don't like pink that much but loved those capri's and got that pink top at Chico's with I was with Phyl & Linda .... I was never a big soda drinker to begin with - and say I am having an extra hungry day - i may have a soda cuz it feels me up. I may have one soda every 2 months... So have a diet coke - let it go flatish - my doc says the only real reason not to drink it is cuz it depletes your calicum... I got p.m. my a new bander - gave her my little chat - Oh ya thanks for taking over I'm here to help thread while I was gone you did great !!! Well really only have a couple struggles most are doing well... Oh - guess what was in the safety deposit box !!!! Guess !!! I had to take off work at 2 then pay $150 for them to drill the box and they would only take cash no check !!! then then didn't even ask for the original letter of adminstration which they told me to bring... Copies of my Dad's trust - which there were 20 copies of it at his house along with the probate records for my Dad's partner... That was it... I think my sister was a little dissappointed that there wasn't another will - leaving it all to her son - I think that's what she thought would be in there!!! I am going to nephew's house to have a mini bbq with family to celebrate his bday which is Friday but since my sis is here and I will be watching TRACE ATKINS - YES EAT YOUR HEARTS OUR GIRLS 2 TIME IN LESS THAN 12 MONTHS.. - I won't be long - need to be home before 8 - gotta watch Idol... Gotta vote for Matt.. I think Adam is going to win - loved his song and look last week - but no way should Matt have been in the bottom 3 - tattoo girl - blind guy need to go before Matt... Ok it's 5:30 gotta get some gas so will cbl :mad2: Soda isn't slacking - eating cake candy cookies high carbs high sugar and not exercising is....

Good Morning Gang Oh Donna - I really didn't forget about you - I was thinking as I went to bed last night that I didn't give you props for the workout with the trainer!!! But gotta say - you shouldn't have gotten sick - make sure you eat like a protein bar or something that's a good carb about 45 min before you work out - and make sure you are well hydrated.. Denise - Ya I would think that medicare would pay for some of this stuff - Hugs I know how hard this is.... Don't you have any bro's - SIL - or Sisters who can help just a little bit.. Oh ya - the kid's didn't know how to party - they slept more than me - I was in bed normally around midnite - won a little on the slots one night but gave it all back plus some.. Really enjoyed it - but am glad to be back home with my Babies... The Comic on the last night asked how many people were going to be happy to see their kids when they got home - some clapped - then he asked how many would be glad to get home to see their fur babies - everyone clapped !!!! I guess little bear is the one who had the biggest separation anxitey -- per my baby sitter - I though it would be angel but it was bear.. Hi gang I'm back !!!! I am alive - got back yesterday around 11:30 - had to play with my babies -they were so happy to see me.... Had to unpack and wash - got a cold on ship :0(... So just watched tv and went to bed at 9 - My dear Phyl called me this morning to ck on me - isn't she just the sweetest thing !!! It's sure nice to have people who miss you... I have been trying to post all morning - but been busy - so haven't had a chance to read last weeks post - will on my lunch - just wanted to pop in and say Hi... Had a great time !!!! Hopefully tonite I can post pic of my zip lining and repelling - this was like the most greatest experience in my life - I felt just like Karri did when she completed her 1st marathon... This was something I never in the world imagined that I could do - Only you all can understand this - My weight before limited my life - now I am free - I am a butterfly !!!! Will post later -- Love you all.. oh ya - i didn't gain any weight !!!!

Good Morning Gang !!!! Today is the day and the stupid weather is not cooperating - it's windy and Long Beach (port that I am leaving from) 61 degrees with 60% chance of rain - I am going to have to change what I am wearing or take my leather jacket - I hate doing that cuz I will have to pack it on the return trip !!! Phyl yep the sandal are for outfits - red thongs (not underwear:tt2:) to go with white bermuda's and that Red Teeshirt I got at chicos in PS when we are with Linda - and then a pair of black and white - just incase I don't feel like wearing my others shoe that all are wedgies or platforms kind of sandals.. Yep I am taking too much but what the heck you never know what you are going to feel like wearing... As to PS not getting you to goal - I think it's going to get you closer than you think it will - but I agree about moving your goal - I did that as you all know - made goal something I thought I could get to - then my little Karri joined and motivated me to get lower.. You are really good about doing your Wii when at home !! Ok - sheets are done - just heard the dryer - I am going to go make the bed - it's 5 30 - I know I have tons of time still but I need to shower dress pack the stuff that has to wait til this morning - get gas - p/u Andrew's cousin and hit the road... I just want to be at the port - have to allow time for traffic - flat tire - potty breaks etc... I think that dream I had last week about almost missing the boat is playing on my mind.. You guys gotta know that this is the first time I have gone on a cruise by myself - and really that's what I am doing - I got 2 teenagers - I always have had another adult to confere with - I'm the only one - this is going to be werid... I know that I portray that I am a super confindant grown up but really I am a little kid inside - I just know how to fake it well... I have 2 kids that I am responsible for all by myself... Ok - I love you all !! Am going to miss you all !!! I will think about you guys everyday !!! Will toast you all each day with my Drink of the Day - I also got some pomagranite lemonaide (delisous) and plan to make my own drinks too for less calories - packed popcorn - lets see if it gets thru security.. That's interesting about those who have had ps - I read the threads occassionally mostly to look for those who have had their arms done and see their pictures. I think that even without the surgery that;s the whole problem with maintaining is that we know we look good and a little this or that doesn't put on the weight - so it's a little more of this or that - a day or two missed of exercise oh that won't hurt - Well ya all those things add up and it does hurt - the lbs come back. I know that I have 4 more months til 2 yr anniversary - and in the past I have kept the weight off for 2 yrs - but then it slowly creeped back on - I spoke of this in the begining - my whole things was were I will be in 3-4-5 yrs after losing the weight - For me having the PS and not being able to exercise for a while - worries me - getting out of my routine - you all know how that is - once you get out it's so hard to get back into it. And you are so right about the looking good - I know I say it's icing on the cake - but I gotta say I love it - I do love the way I look today - I love being called tiny, skinny. On my mentor thread a lot of the ladies don't get that from their families or friends - I guess I'm lucky - I do - I get that reinforcement and I think that helps with not going back to my old ways. That and just cuz I feel so much better. I just realized this morning (yes it was 4:20 when I got up) that I am going to be able to take the stairs on the ship.. For those of you who haven't crusied the 1st day on ship the elevators are jammed packed and very slow with 2500+ pple getting on ship - so it's faster to take the stairs (I'm on the 7th deck) - Sitting having my coffee this morning - I thought oh - I will be able to take the stairs with no problems this time. What a great NSV for me !!! Also another great NSV is to be able to go zip lining !! There is a 220 lbs weight limitation - No problem !!! Well, this all goes to why I have kept so diligent on my exercise - it has to be a way of life along with the healthy eating - Between those 2 things and all of you - It has helped me stay on that mindset The support here - the accountablity here is very motivating... I know I haven't said it in a long time - but I think of you guys daily in my life. Oh I gotta tell Karri this or I gotta tell Phyl that - Candice will love this - Steph will understand you get my drift. You all are such a big part of my life and I am so very happy that we are together. Isn't it funny - that being on lbt gave us a whole new family.. Omw - I am sentimental this morning - I don't pms any more - but this must be one of those times where I have the symptoms of it anyway - In the past when I got pms I use to get very angry then towards the end - I got very lovie dovey I would tell my Xdh - oh I love you and he would say you must be pmsing and then I would look at the calendar and say oh ya I am :smile: Really I think cuz I am going to be missing you all - a whole week with out you guys... I have never been gone a whole week from here... That's scary for me.. So I may just have to buy the minutes on the ship and pop in to say hi quickly... Good Morning Gang - Yep I'm up early - I think it's cuz I am really excited and I want tomorrow to get here.. Having coffee waiting for 7 to hit the gym (so I can pack my tennis shoes) then go get my hair cut at 9 then nails - a little target shopping - wash my sheets - vaccum my room. Oh did I tell you - I am packed - was worried my stuff wouldn't fit in my new suitcase - so packed it last night - fits like a dream with a little room left - not much - but this is the kicker - I have one suit case just for shoes !!! It's my little rolling carry on - I have casual black shoes - dressy black shoes - my fun multi color heels - white shoes - tennis shoes and yes threw in 3 pairs of flip flops on top of that.. The problem now a days is that my shoes now consist of heels well really platform type shoes where as before all I wore was flats (thong sandals) cuz that's all my feet could stand and even walking in those hurt my feet - Now I can walk all day in some of my casual platform type shoes.. Phyl - Yes it was great really - I wasn't very sad - had a moment that a tear dropped when I realized that I was going there for dinner - but toasted him and know that he's in a better place - Ya it may have been the combinatin of sloppy joe then the chicken... of that whole thing of one day our band is tight then the next day wide open... Yep Steph has been in my prayers all day too - and glad things are going well.. Taxes - cuz of the Ranches and my K1 (whatever that is) I really can't do my own - so I gotta pay - If it was just my pay check invovled -Trubo Tax would be my tax program of choice - I did my sons and nephews years ago on it - and it was great. Good Morning Gang I was busy with my desk yesterday - and last night had to bake Andrew's 18th Bday cake for today and made his fav dinner last night cuz he's going to dinner w/his Mom tonite.. Ladies - I can't beleive 18 yrs has gone by so quickly - he use to be my sweet baby now he's my mostly sweet semi adult.... Steph Hugs I wish I was there to help you - don't know how I would - but I am with you in spirt for moral support... Karri - Sending sun shine your way - Indio yesterday was 90 had to turn on AC when I went to bed.. Denise - Hugs with the Mom issues and having to run to the doc everyother day - I don't understand why they don't understand that we work too our time is valuable too and we need to get things done now... Don't they understand that sometime the world does need to revolve around us... Yep Zanxa is a great drug - I don't have a script - but GF does and after my Bro died - they were a big help... Don't think I would want a script for them - could get addicted.. Don't want to feel - take a Zanxz... Phyl - I think you need to adjust to this new restriction - I don't think you are use to it yet and again some days we are tighter than others.. CONGRATS on the 16's WTG !!!! Thanks - That's why I posted the pic - so that pple can see that it's possible at any age - I'm no spring chicken - just an old hen :sneaky: - It's so doable - it takes time - but just take it one day at a time - and your body can and will be a smaller size - it might take a minute for your brain to catch up - but it does eventually...
