Hugs Steph - I too have always been afraid of stomach flu with the band - knock wood - haven't had any problems - but I can't tell you the last time I had stomach flu.. Ya as I was watching Idol last night I knew who she was referring to I forget that most of the pple on here are ahead of us in time zone - She is such a drama queen I'm better - I think it may just be allergies - I am taking clardein - heck it's like taking speed - I have been up since 3 - well maybe cat napped for 20 minutes or so - but when the clock said 3:45 I got up - I will be dragging butt tonite... Candice - I feel the same way - and with the economy the way it is - I won't be selling a ranch anytime soon so - heck my DS & GKids will be getting more than me... I ate tons of fruit while pg - 2 lbs of cherries in one sitting - watermelon - and other junk too - would go with bf after school eat hamburger then go home and eat diiner - moved out 7 months pg - (I've been on my own since 16) and didn't really have too much $$$ for food - I remember waking up hungry and eating spinach - yes I weighed 115 not 250...

No bore Chim - All of us except Karri are Mom's heck Phyl Me Kari are Grandma's - So you have alot of Experience here - and we love giving advice :eek::confused: I ate ton's of hot sauce when I was PG and the girls at school told me I was going to burn my babies eyes out - Well, I asked the doc if eating hot sauce was going to hurt my baby - now remember I was 16 - he laughted and told me the only thing it would do was give me heart burn - well most foods did when I was pg - I ate rolaides and pee'd all the time... Feel free to share - but be forwarned - you might get a few chuckles from us old timers :confused:

I think it may be allergies - I don't know what it is - I have a headache - and feel crappy - feel like I am coming down with something - who knows if it's a cold or allergies (I have a problem with rag weed i think - when I lived in DHS close to Phyl's place - it really bugged me alot and really haven't had anything since) Cruise is to Mexico (yes I know I have heard the news that innocent pple are getting caught up in the cross fire between the drug cartel and the cops - and so did Andrew last night - was surpired he had the t.v. on headline news - that was strange) My travel agent called this morning that she's putting my cruise packet in the mail today we discussed the issues in Mx - and think we will be ok - I'm not too worried about it - won't wear any jewerly when we go ashore and only take $100.. Mazatland (sp) Puerto Viarta and Cabo - I want to go zip lining in Mazatland or PV and I think we are going to swim w/the dolphins in Cabo... I will be gone the week of 3/22 - and heck I know they have computers on ship - but if I remember right it's like a $1 a minutes - so gang I love you - but I think you will all survie without me for a week - I rather spend that $$$ on a tee-shirt :0) - not really -the tours are really expensive especailly when you are paying for all 3 - but heck it's only $$ it's 18th bday and graduation rolled into one - we will have great memories... No I don't have to take hormones - I am very fortunate - I really don't have any sysptoms - well I have no sex drive but heck I don't have a guy so I don't need one - and I don't want a guy so I don't want a sex drive - I think I used up all that hormone when I was 20 30 40 - it's gone and I don't miss it - I enjoyed it when I had it - and some would say I enjoyed it too much... IMHO I wouldn't take hormones if I didn't have to - what I have read has scared me :lol: LMAO:lol::eek: Knew that would get you !!!!! I haven't decided if I am going to the gym tonight or not - So far I have talked myself out of it - may run by the store get some chicken veggies tatoes and make some soup.. and vegge in front of the t.v. - I will be here (work) all by myself tomorrow as both the other girls I work with will be out and it will just be me and my boss - I will get all the phone calls !!!

I'm alive - just been super busy at work - I think it's a full moon - so many fires to put out - there just aren't enough hours in the day ... Steph love the idea of the Seattle thing - but I can't afford that in addition to our Canada or Vegas (I know nothing has been firmed up) I just don't have the time or energy to ask for funds - between work - estate - and my life - I have enough on my plate right now and I only have so many vacation days too. I think I got Phyl's cold from talking to her on the phone Monday :scared2: - I have drank airborne this morning - not feeling really hot - well at least if I have to get sick I rather be it now than when I go on my cruise... Well I gotta get back to work - CB when I can...

No I didn't peel it - I sliced it round wise - and brushed with a little evoo and salted (this is to take out water or bitterness I don't remember what but saw it on a cooking show) I pre-headed george forman grill and then stuck the eggplant in it - grilled till done (mushie/soft) then put down some sauce eggplant - sauce - cheese - 2 layers (had 1 eggplant) and topped it off with that special cheese - it was good - I think you do need to cook/grill the eggplant first.. Good for you girl - I am so proud of you - keep your up coming trip & wedding in your frontal lobe - it will help with the temptations... ------------------------------------------------------ Good Morning Gang - Nothing to really report -no great wisdom to spew this morning... Phyl - don't think you needed to get in the pool today - you get a pass cuz you are sick... I am just so glad to be back to my 138 - I promise to never let 3 lbs turn into 5 ... Candice - No Donuts - did you survie?? or did you eat one - just keep you DD & 2nd Honeymoon in France in the front of your mind - and it will be easy to say no to the donuts.. Thanks Candice - it took 2 weeks to get it off - But I did it with any real trouble - just boosted my exercise some.. Chim - You have me laughing = Darling -you are a first time mama - your baby is still too tiny to make your tummy pooch- watch out for the eating for 2 - I gained like 35 lbs when I was pg - that old attage - is false.. keep eating healthy.. My doc was yelling at me all the time about gaining too much weight - - and swelling feet it not good - talk to your doc - Enjoy being PG - I gotta tell you it was one of the happiest time in my life - Enjoy your sleep and any time for yourself - cuz from the mintue that baby is born - it will be all about him or her.. It's a big job - but so rewarding... I am just so happy for you,. Car got you beat 90 here today... Karri - Eat your soup and get some sleep - have you taken any airborne.. Ok gang - 2 things # 1 found a new yogurt - Dannon Lite & Fit - Pinapple/coconut - Wonderful. #2 last night made eggplant lasanga I guess - Grilled the eggplant in my george forman - made spagh sauce with Paul Newman marnia added onions garlic bell pepper and ground turkey - layered the eggplant with sauce & skim mozzerlla and then on top got some mozzerlla garlic astegio cheese - wonderful - but gotta say that cheese I put on top had grease... But oh so good.. Well it's almost 8... I am off to watch some tv Talk to yall in the a.m.

Well not much to report on - went to my fav store Marshall's yesterday - there was this orange/white sundress that I tried on last week for $39 - well yesterday marked down to $15 - ya see why I love Marshalls..... Karri Sad to hear you aren't coming this way - I was just thinking about that yesterday while I was out and about - but totally understand - with the way things are now a day.. Kari glad you are having a good time - and walking 2 miles you go girl - your knees must be so much better... You are on vacation - we don't expect you to lose - just don't gain more than 3 lbs... Ok that's our rule - no more than 3 lbs while on vacation... So watch out for those robin eggs - I went to the store after getting my nails done - I was hungry - I picked up this little loaf of cibata bread - but I put it back - I had carrot cake at lunch - so no more sweets for me all weekend.. Hey Girl - I don't have any real plans - taking Andrew shopping for the cruise - don't want him looking like a little ganster (he really doesn't - it's my age showing - He doesn't wear super baggy but too baggy imho) and that's about it.. Good Morning Gang I have been super busy at work - never got a chance to post yesterday or the night before - Went to the attonery on Wed - OMG never ending - so after that I went to Marshalls cuz I was depress :tt2:- I love marshalls - 1 jean skirt - 2 long dresses - belt - and workout pants - I felt better :thumbup: Car - I use to keep track of my miles - but haven't since I quit tracking calories - (i tracked exercise to back then) but in the 1st yr 7/07 to 7/08 I went to the gym 179 day and so if you took 3 x 179 = 537 - that would be a guess cuz in the beginning I didn't do 3 miles - I was lucky to get a mile or 2 miles in.. Last night my trainer complement me on how agile i am now adays - asked if I noticed the diff - I say oh ya - that's the very best part of all this (weight loss) I am quicker on my feet - I don't have the pains in my hips that I had - I can move without being exhausted.... Denise how did Madi Gra go - any king cake or celebrating?? white dot lmao - now that you have the treadmil - you can get there too... Karri - fat can't get on your fingers that fast - so it's water :tongue:- Arent you just amazed when you type those word - I enjoyed working out... No much to report - my food yesterday Go Lean Oatmeal & raisins 200 2 pork ribs - 300 1 pt bar - 200 1 teaspoon pb - 150 Nuts - 250 Fish Rice Veggies 260 Berrys & lite whip cream 100 OJ and more nuts - 300 = 1310 no wonder I can't get this weight off - to many freaking nuts... Hell Phyl - I already feel adopted by you and Earl ;0).... It just that we always take for granted what we have... But 43 & 50 are quite young to die - but again tomorrow isn't promised... Well, it will all get done - one day at a time - just hope that some day I won't resent my Sis like I do now... My gf was showing pic's this morning of the party and there are some of me in the back ground - and omw - they looked good - I really am a thin person... It's still hasnt really truly totally sunk in... CONGRATUALTIONS PHYL 0N THOSE FANTASTIC NSV :hurray:- HOW GREAT !!!!:hurray: I went to the fair today - me & deb - went at 10 a.m had breakfast - 2 eggs & some hash browns - and a couple bites of deb's biscuts & gravy - and i was full but as we walked around oh did i want to eat - and I mean I really hated my band at the moment cuz I just wanted to binge eat - - but as we kept walking the terrible urge left then as it got later and more pple got there I saw this very overweight little girl eating cotton candy - then all the other over weight pple just stuffing their faces - and I told deb - oh hell no - no more food - I didn't even get a cinnamon roll which the fair is famous for - Phyl you didn't have any funnel cake this year?? I did have one treat but it was a fruit:tt2: - a choc covered banana :tongue: but no fudge - fried snicker bars - gelato's - hot dog on a stick - onion rings - We left around 1 and for dinner it's pork ribs veggies maybe some tatoes.. Thanks baby girl - I got that blouse at Cachet -it was pricy but just cuz I could walk into that store and buy something I did - and I love it too.. I am sure glad that your band is ok - I was worried - Glad you are getting $$ back - I go tomorrow - heck I will be happy if I break even - but having GS makes me single head of household which is the very best tax bracket to be in... Candice - I did the crime now I have to do the time - I even went to a bday party for my gf 80 mom today and NO CAKE NONE NADDA ZIP !!!!! Salad - 1/2 ck breast - tomato - watermelon -veggies - No wine either !!!!! In fact I drank 3 bottles of water !!!! I will not I repeat I will not have any more real treats (meaning real sugar) until the rest of the weight I gained is off - I will not let these 3 lbs stay on my body - cuz if I ignore them - then those 3 will turn into 5 - then 10 - then before you know it I will be 250 again - and saying how in the hell did that happen... it happens cuz we ignore those 2 - 3 lbs gains - that's how Ya I don't worry about the # in my band it could be 4.8 or 5.0 not real sure - all I have ever cared about was that I had restriction... Car - I come from a family of huggers and kissers my sis (diff dad's) use to say that we kissed good bye even if we were just going to the bathroom :tt2: - My DS dad I think gave me one bday card in the yrs that we were together - but the bf's and xdh since him were pretty good... Good morning Gang I slept in til 6:45 this morning and last night a freind from work came over for dinner & movie - Ok I gotta brag here (oh ya like you guys are shocked by that) guess what I did this morning - guess.. 5 freaking miles !!!! yep 5 miles - That is a personal best for me !!! The most I have ever done is like 4 - this morning 5 miles in 1 hr 20 minutes with inclines and even jogged a bit...

Kari Glad you have good weather - don't fret about your 12/14 - you are a tall person - I'm short and so is Steph & Karri (me & Karri 5'4 and I don't know Steph's actual height but know that she's at least as short as me if not shorter :0) I am glad you are getting your exercise- how's your knees doing??

Yes Phyl - it's so easy for us to get wrapped up in our own lives - we mean to call but somehow or another we just don't get around to it. I know how you feel on that issue - It seems like I have been to Michael's house more since he died than I was when he was alive. I would figure that they will do an autopsy since it was an unattended death. Prayer for her passing - it's always a very very sad thing to lose someone you care about..
