Bad food choices
Start over tommorow morning Protein first, then veggies you won't be able to cheat remember why you had the surgery, and how awesome you will look a month from now Stay strong! IF you need to eat something and can't take it anymore there's chesters corn puffs 60 of them is like 160 calories. Sugar free angel cake and sugar free pudding is another. They are not very high in calories and they satisfy the crazy monster that tries to demolish my hard work. Myfitnesspal.com really helps too. I track my protein and calories. It holds me accountable for what I put in my mouth. Keep your eyes on the prize

4 weeks post-op and have been stalled for 2 weeks! HELP!
If you have a stall you are either eating to many calories/carbs and or not exercising enough. At least that's what my surgeon says. I suggest to make sure your getting in the required liquid intake 64 ounces. Get enough protein in 50-70 grams. Take a laxative , Maybe your clogged up. Most importantly keep your calorie intake between 600-800 calories for the first 6-9 months. When I ate more than 800 I stalled. Once you get to goal weight you can eat more than that. Hope this helps

body changes This is not me
I have similar thoughts. Taking pictures and posting them and looking at them really helps. I'm very happy with my weight-loss and am adjusting to the fact that I'm a skinny person now I surprise my self every time I look in the mirror It reminds me that I'm thin now. I have been overweight since I turned 11 years old. So, for about 14 years I was fat. I was called fat, made fun of, and struggled to loose weight. It is in my head but when I look in the mirror I see that it has changed. It takes time but we will get it Stay positive

weight issues
My Doctor put me on a strong anti acid 2x a day for the first ten days post op.The acid can really irritate your sleeve while it heals. This really helped after that I used tums and zantac 150. I'm currently on omaprazole 20mg daily and I'm 4 and half months out. Congratulations on getting sleeved ,it must have been very frustrating to go through all this but you did it

My shoes have become loose on my feet.

Hanging skin
I think each person is different. It depends on your body type(were you gain fat- all over, on top , on bottom), Height , highest weight you have been, age, gender. I have a friend that did bypass and all her weight was on top(highest weight 301) 5'7''. Her legs had no sagging but her top was all hanging. I gain weight all over(Heighest weight 300)5'7'' I have slight sagging on my arms and thighs. But I believe with weightlifiting I can avoid plastic surgery. Exercise and lift weights full body. and hope for the best. Good luck

Should I buy new shoes?
I have wide feet and measure at size 9 womens . Being over weight I usually buy size 11 shoes so they fit. I'm 80 pounds down and have about 55 to get to goal 153 lbs. I'm 5'7''. I'm worried about buying shoes then dropping therest of the weight and then my shoes get too loose on my feet! What did you do? when is it safe to buy shoes? 10 pounds over goal, 20 pounds over goal?

How many days post op did drinking get easier?
1-2 weeks for me. Till today at 4 months I cannot chug water. I still take small gulps one at a time waiting n between each a second or 2. If I chug it hurts and is uncomfortable. My Doc gave me pain meds that were sublingual(melt under your tongue). They also didnt cause dowsyness. Hang in there it will get better day by day. your sleeve is still swelled and tender. It can take up to a month for swelling to go down. :0 hope you feel better.
