  2. For the time being you can take tums 3-4 depending on the package. I use Zantac 150 almost daily to stop the burning. Call your Doc but the tums will stop in now if you take it till you can get some from your physician. I was put on an acid blocker twice a day for the first ten days after surgery. hope you feel better
  3. I hope my feet get smaller
  4. Piedras negras Mexico with DR.Guillermo Alvarez, Endobariatrics.com. He also has a facebook account were you can view over 100 photos of before and afters. I paid 8700 + plane ticket from Michigan 475. Everything went smoothly , The drive back was ruff because of the surgery, besides that everything went well. Im currently 8 weeks out and have lost 45 lbs I feel great and am so happy at all the complements I get. The scars are very small and fading. I'm so happy I finally did it I have been also trying to lose weight for so long. The best part that Im having a hard time grasping is that I will never be Morbidly obese again. Unless I try really hard LOL

  7. lol the other day I measured out 3 slices of turkey 1 tbls mayo 1 slice of bread. I started to eat it but could not finish it so I left it on the table to take a break and finish it in a little. I made my husband 2 chicken subs for dinner he eats them then eats that piece that I had measured and wanted to finish! I was soo pisssed!!! It is very frustrating with my kids also I feed them first then sit to eat my food and they are like oooh what are you eating mommy can I have some? YOU DONT EVEN LIKE BOILED EGGS! but if im eating it they want it. I wish I had my own fridge with a lock!

  14. I know it's physically impossible for me to stop loosing weight at this juncture. I think that this is a very good point! Afte having this surgery it is almost impossible not to lose weight hang in there the number will change. weight your self once a week instead of everyday that might help
  15. Put the scale away!!! it will drive you to insanity I went through the same thing and I was upset and a little down because I wasnt losing as fast as I wanted to BUT eventually the scale moved It just takes time, I remind my self that this is not a diet like the ones in the past, theres only one way the scale is moving and thats down baby! I would recomend that you measure your body neck, upper arms, lower arms , chest, waist, hips , booty , theighs, calf and go by that too (once a month). sometimes the scale may not move but inches are coming off keep up the good work and good luck.
  16. Woooohooooo congradulation you did it Awesome
  17. Don't take them as others have posted your not suppose to take anything before your surgery, But if you are desperate it wouldnt hurt to call the surgeon and ask Hang in there you can do this
  18. I stalled at 250 also it will pass be patient your body is adjusting. I was not getting enough calories in when I increased them or hit my daily mark of 800 It broke and I lost weight again. Also water is very important , make sure you get all that in. Oh and I was constipated! If your not going get a laxative to help. Keep up the great work
  19. I can't wait to not think about how I look anymore I can't wait to not have to pull my pants up over my muffin top when I stand up I can't wait to wear heels comfortably
  20. Don't give up you have an amaizing tool to beat this! Throw out everything your not suppose to have, thats what I do in my house. If its not there I dont even think about it. If you crave sweets try pudding thats sugar free. If you want salty pringles has 0 fat chips that are 16 crisps for 120 calories BUT dont eat these everyday. As everyone else said protein first Eggs,turkey,chicken,fish,tuna...Drink your water or you will think your hungry but its just thirst. And if you are always hungry it may be acid, take an antiacid. You can do this! Go to you tube and search before and after vsg surgery that always helps me keep my eyes on the prize. Stay strong you git this
  21. I also take out 4 bottles of water each is 16.9oz for grand total of 67 oz and tell myself they have to be done by the end of the day! Dehydration is very scary, I was hospitalized for it on day 5 after surgery. Keeping the bottle in your hand is the best for me other wise I will forget it .
