  1. UImm how the heck are you in a "stall" a stall is no movement at all either inches or LBs for a month. Relax your fine.
  2. I noticed the other day as I was brushing my lipstick on that my lips seem different like they are more stretched on my face than poutier. Not bad not good just different. Ia m 3 months out 60 Lbs gone and I would say that yes you get a different face when you lose this much weight. Good job.
  3. I have not had an issue with receiving aftercare. The wonderful thing about this surgery is the lack of need for after care. You may need a metabolic blood work panel just to see how your doing. But overall unless you have complications you shouldn't need follow up care. I had my surgery in Mexico came home have been losing weight my B-12 and other Vitamin levels are all on target. I have yet to see a doctor for anything. If your PCP isn't on board keep interviewing until you find one that is. You can find a new doctor its your right. Make the appointment go have the surgery and enjoy your new body.
  4. I wear fentynol pain patches for chronic pain. I was changed to those after I had my surgery. I still take alot of oxycodone though.
  5. did you get weighed already? You could add a few 10 lb ankle bracelets and take them off slowly
  6. your gonna be just fine. Keep walking keep sipping. I had a problem peeing too. SO bad in fact that after I came out of recovery and I was sleeping in my room and had to go so I woke up and I went to the potty couldn't go, falling back asleep and some time after that ended up having to pee the bed. It was the only way I started being able to pee on my own. I was so tired and out of it I kinda forgot I had done it until I was fully awake a few hours later. I was so embarrassed. But yeah I had problems peeing for a few weeks. It just seemed to take longer for it to start the stream.
  7. Smoke Some Pot, That helps people eat. Really take your time and introduce new things little at a time.
  8. I too went to Mexico. I text with lots of people to stay accountable If you want to text I'd be happy to do tbat with you. Just message me or email Sarah@Andrew team. Com
  9. OMG I remember the day I stumbled into that forum. Scared the jesus outta me. But I pulled on my big girl panties and remembered that I have numbers on my side and guess what I came out perfect.
  10. If you talk to a good plastic surgeon you will find that the scar is small and they use your normal skin folds to introduce the scars, like where your arms meets your armpit or the back near the shoulder. Don't let idiots scare you. Do your own research.
  11. Go get a smoothie with fruit and Protein powered soy or whey. Thats what I did when I needed a break from the crap you had to drink. I don;t drink any protein shakes now that I get all the protein organically rather than from chemicals.
  12. No need to wean off straws. People drink more when they drink with a straw. I am post op and prefer to drink from a straw
  13. Screw Insurance Go to Mexico.
  14. That is super awesome. My husband started losing with me. Drinking shakes as Meal Replacements, cutting back on food amount and what type he eats and he has dropped 20 Lbs and is so motivated now. He says it wasn;t as hard as he thought it was gonna be. We work out together 2xs a week and has a very active job. so excited for you
  15. And this is why we tell people not to buy things until after they are home. Sorry this happened to you. unjury is awful to me. Have you tried to send it back for a refund?
  16. How amazing. What a transformation. Tell me you had to get a new driver's license. You do not look like the same person. And as first the skin. That's what plastics Are for No worries
  17. Why not do stadium stairs. If you don't have a stadium thats open to the public ( like the rose bowl) you could head to your local high school football field or the Jr. College usually has a stadium. You could warm up on the track and then go up and down the stairs. We had to do this in HS and I remember it being super HARD and the next day my calf's were so sore.
  18. I do not take Vitamins. I take B-12 about 3xs a week. I had my metabolic panel done and I look great and high in B-12. Its not necessary if you are eating well. IMHO.
  19. It's actually not a stall until you have lost 0 inches or pounds for a month. Evaluate your diet, add more carbs or reduce carbs, maybe add more Water. How about your calories do you need to add more in or eat less? Maybe everything is ok and your body just needs to rest.... Good luck
  20. Oh my there are much better ways of preparing a chicken than boiling it.. When you boil it you render it tasteless and dry. Please bake your chicken in the oven or crock pot. Seriously use low sodium chicken broth and some veggies and spices for flavor. In essence your making a stock and have chicken baking in it. Then shred it and use it during the week. You will thank me.
  21. I am 30 Lbs lighter and at least 25 Inches smaller and I agree with the poster above me. That you were really a larger size and now its fitting properly and starting to get baggy. I am not seeing a size change either and I have lost more than you. I have a good friend I was telling this to and she is 8 months or so out and she said once you hit between 35- 40 lbs then you willsee changes in size and then monthly after that. I get that it is discouraging but hang in there its bound to happen
  22. I do from day 1, I avoid plain water and add flavor to it. Or drink tea
  23. I have to intentionally eat carbs, like 2 sheets of graham crackers with a table spoon of cream cheese for instance and I get right back to losing
  24. Ohh I like this, I saute 2 mushrooms in evoo and a bit of salt and pepper, added 2 oz rotisserie chicken to that till warm then added 2 oz cheese to bind and slipped it on to a plate. Yummo.
  25. I started taking regular ol pills on day 2. Not sure why you have to crush anything.
