Yayyy for you! I too am thinking of a little casino reward. I usually take between $100 and $300 and spend time on the penny slots and do quite well!
Continued success to you - enjoy your trip!

Good luck to you. It looks like you are well on your way. I was sleeved on 10/26 and all is going well. I tried the Oh Yeah Shakes and they are pretty tasty. I was able to visit the local Vitamin Shoppe store and buy them individually before making a big purchase of a case (ready to drink). My favorites are the Strawberry and the Cookies and Cream! If you find them, I hope you like them just the same.
I also bought the Isopure Unflavored protein powder which has proven to be a life saver! I can put it in my cream soups, yogurt, pudding - everything!
Again - Good luck to you!!!

But think back to your last diet... how much had you lost, 8 weeks out? When is the last time you lost 30 lbs in two months. I think that's PHENOMENAL! Also, check your clothes and your inches. I read somewhere (probably nowhere, maybe I made it up) but we don't lose lbs and inches at the same time. When the scale stops moving, I check my inches. Always a change. Can you wear smaller clothes? Are your baggy clothes super baggy? Fat pants looking ridiculous? Feet flopping around in your shoes?
How do YOU FEEL? Breathing better? Climbing stairs with no pain? Can stand without a backache? Lots of NSV's to look for that have nothing to do with the scale. I am PRAYING for at least 30 lbs in two months... I think you're doing great.
As far as hunger, I have heard the more protein you get in, the longer you stay full.
    Keep on keepin' on.

Nope you are not the only one I am 9 weeks post-op today. I have lost 42 pounds and continue to have stalls but I am still losing major inches all of my clothes are falling off me. I can look at myself naked now and not feel nauseous...(lol). Even tho the scale is moving the inches are falling off.... Don't say only 30 pounds because that is still a major accomplishment. Start working out if you haven't already and continue eating right and the scale will start to move again....
    Wishing you the best

Happy Belated Birthday! While I do like reading everyone's numbers and nsv's, I really appreciate it when people write about their emotions! My emotions run high and I think I will have the "fat brain, skinny body" issue as well.
Congrats on living life and getting back on track!

First off.. Happy Birthday!!!!!! Second... I loved this post! I am still pre-sleeve, but reading this gave me hope about my life in the future. I am a bit older than you, but still have those same insecurities about things..... when you wrote about the guys wanting to dance with you and puting on the zip line equipment, my inner goddess was doing doing cartwheels and blowing raspberries!!!! lol Congrats on all you success!

I purchased the unjury soup but it said to use warm water not hot. I just can't stand warm soup, it has to be hot. All the packets have a certain temp to keep it at. Not sure I like this

Unflavored sounds like a good idea! I got the chicken flavored UNJURY protein today and am looking forward to trying it out .... Especially once I can start puréed/soft foods (Unjury has some suggestions - like mixing it into mashed potato mix). I only got my sleeve done on Monday, but have found that I can't stomach some of the sweet protein drinks .... Hope it works for you!

How exciting! I want to be like you when I grow up (LOL). I was just telling my family that we need a maid or a housekeeper or something because I just don't have the energy to keep up with a full house anymore. I am nine days post op and haven't been able to return to my regular routine yet. I experienced a great deal of discomfort after the surgery, resulting in me using the full two weeks recommneded by my doctor. My first post op visit is on Nov 8 and will definitely increase my fluid intake because my tongue has been a little too white. I thought that it was because of my low fliud intake, so thanks for posting that information.

Good for you, you hardly had time to think about it or worry about it. Most of us started back in May or June and are not having surgery till Nov. All those test you talked about were stretched out over a few months. And now the anticipation, worry, should I still do it. See we have too much time to think. You are a very lucky girl. Best of luck on your speedy recovery.
