I had both at the same time, I was in the hospital 3 days due to this also. Do an internet search on doctors in your area. I had to go 2 hours from home to get my surgery there was no one local. Then I did a search on reviews on doctors and went to seminar. Had to have referral from primary physician.

My trip was awesome I did not worry about what I ate, but did not eat too bad. I think the worst I did was have a Snow cone and i know the syrup is the worst part but dang they were yummy. I cam home and was the same weight as when I left 202/203 depend on the day and time... well FINALLY this week I hit 199. I started worrying that I would not lose anymore weight because of the past failed attempts..

My step was close to that but they did have him loss some weight before they would do surgery and had to have several test done.

Well I missed my goal by 2lbs but I am not to upset at this moment since I am at the airport heading to sun and warm weather... Well I was 200 one morning but did not count it cause I knew I would go back up because it was because I was semi sick the night before and did not eat and was in the bathroom off and on all night..... POOF then a stall.... I truly believe I will start losing while I am in Kauai because its so much seafood and fresh fruit and I will be eating healthier!! We are doing helicopter ride, boat tour, and I really wanna do the zip line now that I have lost enough to be able to do it....... we will see 10 days of pure joy and relaxing... Thanks everyone that have made positive comments about my blogs and taking the time to read this old lady's rattling ons!!

Did he not get an insurance card? it should have numbers on the back to call. that is what I did. I called the back of my card and asked them if they covered the VSG

Ok, start fresh NO FOOD, do liquids starting now........ don't drink anymore the stuff that makes you poop!! You will be fine. they want you to do liquid diet to help your liver shrink.

My mom went to the seminar with me, did not really say anything to the rest of my family till I was approved. I would say there is only a hand full people know I had surgery. I am more of a private person. It is up to you. I had one nosy woman walk up to me and ask me if I had weight loss surgery and it was the only time I lied I looked at her and said NO and walked away. I do not want people walking up to me asking me that kind of question with out knowing me. Most people thinking I am doing it myself I started working out and dieting 4 1/2 months before surgery and I lost 20lbs so people seeing me trying before hand so it was a little easier, and most people are not so rude to ask that question so directly.

Look on facebook or ask around, where I live we have sites for exchange clothes, household items, baby stuff........ LOVE the sites.. I belong to about 5 helps so much.

I was only allowed to carry 10lbs for 2 weeks so that is the biggest thing, It would depend on your child and how much they want to be carried around

Call your insurance company Monday and ask questions can't hurt............ I did......... I pushed every step of the way, from first appointment till surgery was 3 months
