  1. Yes...I am posting from my phone so can't seem to link, but search! It is basically back to basics-low carb, high protein, lots of water!!
  2. I have gotten way off track with my eating habits lately! I am 6 months post op and down 65 lbs but still have 45 to go! Anyone else starting over today as well??
  3. If you liked the Hunger Games Series, try Divergent...even better!
  4. I am starting again tomorrow...PMS and a super busy weekend made me stray! I still lost 3lbs but still want to do it to make the sugar monster stay away!
  5. Okay, day One-- Weighed in at 215 this am. Starting weight--272 Surgery weight--256 Surgery date- 10/29/12 I typically only weigh once a week but for the boot camp purposes, I will weigh daily--only challenge is I think that I am about 6 days away from my TOM! Oh well, I will do it anyhow!
  6. I am in! I have been doing great with exercise and okay during the day, but 8pm gets me every night and I break down and have something I shouldn't! I will weigh in the morning and report it!
  7. I also felt fine--at 6 days post op I had to go to the NASCAR race and had planned on getting "sick" so I wouldn't have to go, but I was fine....by two weeks out I was back at work a week and feeling great!
  8. This has happened to me before...I think it is deceitful but it has happened. I did specifically make sure that the anesthesiologist that my surgeon used was covered since I have been burned before...
  9. I have read all the posts in hair loss, but want to hear from those that did NOT lose hair--do you think it was by chance and luck? Genes? Or did you do something?
  10. Thank you for the suggestion! Going there now!!
  11. I was also sleeved on 10/29/11. I do okay most days but don't always get my Protein in... I was 272 before 10 day pre-op diet... 257 day of surgery Weighed in at 226 today!
  12. I only access VST from my phone app, so I don't see a place to put all those things?
  13. I am one mont post op and had my period when I had surgery. I started again a few days ago but it is very light--so light that I don't know what day to call day one, but have been spotting for 3 days. I have read that most have heavier periods after VSG... Anyone have lighter?
  14. I have a pain in my right side that just appeared these past few days. It hurts when I move certain ways, which makes me believe it is muscle pain from overdoing my walking last week... Has anyone had pain there--it is on my right side behind my ribs...
  15. I am assuming that there is a waiting period...has anyone asked? My body sure could use one but I am only 3.5 weeks out!!
  16. Yeah--after all the years of dieting I know that an increased calorie day would be helpful for me and my stall, but like a previous poster said, I struggle to get in enough calories daily--I feel like I am always eating or drinking something to get in fluids or protein. At stalls though, I will be even more thankful for my sleeve though because without it, stalls tended to make me say "screw it" and go "off" my diet. This time I will persevere!!!
  17. If you had one? I am going 8 days with no loss--sleeved 3.5 weeks ago...
  18. I am only 3 weeks out but kind of feel the same way--I have not pushed the limits on quantity but am on soft foods and my doc told me to have anything as long as it was soft, and nothing has bothered me at all.... I do feel full soon but not after two tablespoons like others. I am making healthy choices and losing though, so I guess all is good!!!
  19. I wonder the same thing....
  20. I am 8 days post op and did not have a drain either....
  21. I agree they taste great but are soy protein, not whey, and my doc does not recommend.
  22. 6 days post op...urine was very light yesterday, but when I woke up today, was pretty dark??? Overnight?? I am sipping G2 and water now...
  23. I Also was sleeved on Monday! I am alternating between sipping Water, broth, and Protein shake...I haven't been able to get my goal of either but sip, sip, sip the whole time I am awake. I have yet to have a BM but know that I haven't had anything to poo out! I have not had any pain Meds since surgery, so am doing good--I do have a bit of gas pain in my shoulders still...does anyone else? It also hurts a bit to drink from the gas, but I am doing it anyhow! Can't wait to feel somewhat normal! Have no desire for food though so that is nice...
  24. I have six, which seems like a lot! I didn't ask before surgery how many he would make, so I didn't know if this is normal!
