  1. also, I am 5feet 1 3/4 inches now.
  2. My pressure was 19 and had been using the bipap for several years but wasn't falling asleep driving! Did the home oxygen test after I lost over 100 pounds, but still need it as my oxygen goes too low!!
  3. make sure you sip! I has to set a timer on my phone to remember to drink! I tracked. Water, shakes, and walking!! It really helped me. Then I switched to myfitnesspal.com and tracked there for over a year. Mi stopped and have now restarted tracking!
  4. You can do this! I'm 17 months out and now 67. I can do so much more. I walked 2 different 5 k's and cut time together ! I like water aerobics better!! The doctor has dropped my meds for high blood pressure and cholesterol and the supplements. I started at 225.5 and am now 122.8. The biggest difference is clothes.. I'm proud of what I have accomplished! It is not easy but one day at a time!!! Keep in touch!!
  5. Yesterday I had a candy binge!! Not sure what that was about as I've never had one in 17 months. I tracked all of it though. Today, I'm back on track!! ????
  6. Have been on a combo for anxiety and they continue to work well. Also on a beta blocker for heart racing. Tried to cut down on that and that didn't work!! Feeling great just where I am!!
  7. Love being able to buy different clothes. Gradually building up my wardrobe!! Love how you wrie your posts! ????
  8. I'm 16 months out and still use the bipap. Took the home oxygen test at home. It was still dropping too low. Just had a vaginal lift surgery and used it in the hospital! Dr said he has kids and skinny people that need it! Disappointed but I feel better with it!
  9. My brother just had to get his at the the pharmacy!
  10. You look great to me! My issue is that I am below goal and my skin is so jiggly! I'm 67 and don't want plastics. Just had internal surgery 1 1/2 weeks ago and can't exercise yet! Wonder if I am losing muscle mass.
  11. Thanks for the laugh! Glad you are better! I'm on my second summer wardrobe. Kept some of the tops from the first though!! Kohl's, younkers, and Bealls have my money!!
  12. I had mine done by Dr. Gluck in Nov.or 2012. Practice sipping as that was the hardest thing for me to remember....Excited for you!!! Just take it one day at a time, when you come home. Walk and sip.... I ate protein pudding too fast the first week when had it. Not a good feeling!! Remember you can do this was my motto!!! My daughter told me that if I did the preop and post op liquids and followed the rules, I would only have to do this once!! Good luck and keep in touch!!
  13. I was 65 when I had my surgery. Nov 12, 2012. Have lost 103 pounds... Below my goal. Trying not to lose more!!
  14. If I eat too fast or too much, I'm sick!
  15. Fitness pal has helped me be accountable.
  16. Went for my mammogram and the nurse looked shocked when she weighed me!! Was 198 for my last mammogram. Was 125.7 and I think she was thinking I was sick!! Need a new picture for my license!!
  17. Like the idea of the mason jars...Never thought of that. I'm 16 months out and still looking for ideas. My husband doesn't eat the same as me, so get sick of leftovers!!
  18. I'm always cold and I would sweat just drinking coffee before surgery! I have to wear more layers, too! I keep a sweater or fleece in the car as I freeze in restaurants in the summer. But.....I can add clothes as I feel so much better!!!
  19. I'm only 5ft 2" and my doctor wanted me at a normal BMI which for me was 130. That was just a goal, not set in stone. I'm 16 months out and had to talk to the nutritionist because I kept losing when I wasn't trying. Added in some Peanut Butter in my weight control oatmeal, nuts, and more fruits. I'm now fluctuating between 122-125. You should have seen the look on the nurse's face when she weighed me yesterday before my mammogram. I was 198 at my last one a year ago Dec and she was shocked!! I think she thought I was sick!!
  20. I use Kinerese cream that my daughter recommended when I was younger....67 now, but not consistent enough to tell you it works for sure.
  21. I was starting weight 225.5 and wore a 46 DD and am not a 36D. I orginally got Victoria Secrets demi bra but as I lost weight and they hung more, I didn't like how that style stuck out under light weight shirts. Went back to local place...Bras that Fit and got the same style I wore before but the correct style and am happy with them. But...I'm 67 and they would hang anyway I guess!! Mammogram I had yesterday didn't hurt as much!! LOL! By the way, it was benign!! I'm from Mi too! I had Dr. Gluck in Muskegon, but live in Jackson.
  22. Not fond of mustard so does it have a lot in it??
  23. I'm 67 and 16 months out. I was able to go off Pravachal (statin), CQ10 for my joints because of the statin, fish oil, and my high blood pressure medicine. I don't have the same issues though. I am still on a Beta Blocker as my heart races when I exercise, and shoots too much adrenaline. Hope your doctor lets you go off some of the meds but it's not the end of the world if you can't if my feeling.
  24. i did that the whole first year. 16 months out and I'm trying not to lose more weight now. Never thought I'd say that!
  25. Michigan sleevers. Nov 2012. Now a 15 mo post op and am below goal.
