  9. Are you getting enough protein? How about increasing your exercise? 59 lbs. is a fantastic weight loss! Be easy on yourself. Everyone experiences stalls. The scale WILL start moving again. Sent from my iPad using VST
  10. My only problem is they fill me up so much I can't get in my meals now that I'm on soft foods. Sent from my iPad using VST
  11. I drink EAS Advantage. It's the only one I like ... and I've tried them all. Do you mix the Chocolate Truffle with Milk? I am stressing on Protein, too. Also worried about my hair! I'm going to try the blender bottle. When I make them in my Magic Bullet they get all airy and foamy.
  12. Yes. But she said it is being controlled with diet and exercise right now.
  13. Went to my family doctor today for checkup. She was the one to recommend the sleeve to me. I love her! She was pleased with my weight loss. Down from 1st visit to WLS (which was 250 and then day of surgery I was 222, today (5 weeks after sleeve), I weigh 207. Smiles all around. She said I am not getting enough calories. I have been averaging 400 calories a day. She said it should be 1000. She said not to pay that much attention to sugar right now. Of course she did not mean candy,, cookies and cake, etc. She suggested I add more fruit and try to eat more small meals. I'm going to try ... but i get full so fast and it takes me about an hour to finish my protein shakes. Any other suggestions?

  16. I wondered if I was too old to have this done. I'm 66. But I went ahead with the surgery on 8/28/12. Lost 41 lbs. feeling great. My only challenge is getting in enough Protein and liquids because I get full so fast. I've always been a speed eater, so it's hard for me to slow down, too. Sent from my iPad using VST
  17. What a great day! Went to a live show at our local theater ... Ran into an old friend who didn't recognize me, and I felt so comfortable inching past people to get to my seat and then fitting into my seat with room to spare and could even cross my legs! Yea for my sleeve! Sent from my iPad using VST
  18. Sometimes I pour my Protein smoothies (either homemade or store bought) into my little 4 oz. tupperware containers and pop them in the freezer. After they're frozen, set them on the counter for about 15 minutes and then you can scrape them up with a spoon and they taste delicious! The best thing is the taste is great and there's NO protein smell! Great for fulfilling that "Desert" that we miss so much or as a snack between meals. Enjoy! Cathrine Sent from my iPad using VST
