I've been on plenty of fish for about a year, while I was at my heaviest. Needless to say, not much activity for me. Ironically, I just met someone who likes 'bigger ladies' now that I had my surgery on december 17th. Oh the maddness! lol
I haven't told him I had the WLS yet.

Well tomorrow I am going to the gym for the first time since I was sleeved. (12/17/12)
I've lost 30 pounds, and I'm looking forward to doing the eliptical trainer. I hope I can do 10 minutes, and then I will walk too.
I also plan on starting a light weightlifting program.

I'm 31 days out now, and down 30 pounds. I love my sleeve, and had no complications what so ever.

I am so excited.
Plus I introduced real foods, albiet about a week early. But I feel great!
I'm up to 50 oz of water/day. I have not had any pain post op. NOW, I need to start moving and excercise.

I always start with a Protein Shake in the morning.
Ricotta or cottage cheese or homemade or 98% fat free creamed Soup for lunch.< /p>
chicken, veal, or fish for dinner.< /p>
I always drink at least 50oz of Water /day

First of all, you are not a failure. It takes courage to get sleeved and you did it.
Regroup, journal (if you have time), and maybe see a psychologist to help you get back on track. You can do it. Don't let your self get too far gone though.

I'm also on the 17th. I go in at 8:30 am. So psyched!

Every body is different, don't compare yourself to others. Just keep on track and the scale will move. Have you measured yourself? You may have lost inches.
Stay focused.

Well, I did it, my first week of full liquids. I was nervous that I would cheat, but honestly, I did well.
I lost 5 pounds in 6 days. Yeah, I wish it had been more, but I'll take what I can get.
Today, is Clear Liquids. I made red Jello, does that count as a clear liquid?
Anyway, I'm not as nervous as I thought I would be. I did all the research, read most forums on this site, seen the good, bad, and ugly. I am stronger than I thought.
Emotions? Running thru the gammit. On Wednesday, I was thinking, 'what have I gotten myself into?'; almost considered cancelling the surgery. So glad I didn't.
Today, I am going to a boat parade (I live in SW Florida). There will be lots of food to tempt me. My Dr. offered jello w/protein pre-packaged at the office so I bought some. I'm going to take the jello, and some broth with me, so I can look like I'm eating along with everyone else.
Lastly, my loving and supportive mother flew down from NJ to be with me after surgery. I am truly blessed.

Hey guys, its been two years, I had my sleeve on November 17, 2010. My Starting weight was 580 pounds. Today I'm at 260 pounds. I'm at a stand still on losing weight and I'm happy with that, I would like to get down to 240 but I'm not in a hurry, I can eat what I want and do what I want. I'm off most of my prescriptions, High blood pressure medicine, Cholesterol medicine, Diabetes medicine, I have more energy then I have ever had. This has been a roller coaster of emotions but it was the best thing that I have ever done. If anyone has any question feel free to ask me anything.
