  1. Was it you that makes a curry casserole? I want that recipe!
  2. I try to stay around 1000. I still have 50-60 pounds to lose!
  3. Also the fiber one brownies are pretty good!
  4. Look at you! You look amazing! Congratulations!
  5. I'm 5'9 too. I currently weigh 223 and started at 296. My surgery was Nov. 3rd. It's very possible you could be under 200 by the end of the year. As for goal, I have no idea. I've never been under 240 at this height. I'm thinking my goal for now is 170. But again, I've never been 170 so we'll see. I honestly don't want to be skinny, just fit and healthy. Good luck with your surgery!
  6. Baaahaha at stoopy store!
  7. LOL!!!!! I'll never understand why people think they are entitled enough to say who is or isn't ready for this surgery.
  8. Amen, sistah!
  9. I drink vodka and fruit punch crystal light once a week. My tolerance never changed. I have a beer at a concert with no problems. I used to drink rum or whiskey with coke but too scared to try a soda now.
  10. I usually eat leftovers from dinner the night before. If not, a sandwich, yea I said it, A SANDWICH! haha wraps, I buy big containers of spring mix lettuce and make salads usually with olives, red bell pepper, tomatoes and top it with tuna, chicken, or lunch meat with balsalmic vinaigrette. The chicken salad with cranberry sauce sounds delish! I'm going to try that!
  11. I'm so sorry, Aussie! And I agree, I hate the phrase!
  12. When I was researching, I found a doctor in dallas for 10,000. His name us Victor Gonzalez. I'm nit sure if that's still his price. I've also heard you can get it done in Vegas for 11,000 but again I researched these a year ago
  13. At this point in my life, no! I'm so tired of being fat it can all go!
  14. Thanks! Hopefully Monday I'll know what's going on.
  15. Also, its hard to have good form if you don't have shoes that accommodate your arch. From personal experience, the shoes stopped my shin splints and knee pain. If they don't make a difference for someone else, I'd consider them very lucky.
  16. Yesterday I had to get an ultrasound and xray done of my abdomen. They gave me a hospital gown and told me change and wait in the waiting room. I looked at that gown and thought no way would it fit me! Well it did! And it covered me completely! There was a full length mirror in the bathroom and I looked so much smaller! I need to buy one for my home haha!
  17. I agree sabra with pibe nuts! I eat it with zucchini slices, pita chips, on sandwiches instead of mayo. It's really good!
  18. Not dumb! Water won't stretch your sleeve. It goes right through.
  19. It depends on the cause. If it's genetic, chances are it's not coming back. If it's hormone related, it might come back. If it's from medication, you may not need them when you lose the weight and again, it may grow back. If you are not planning on having anymore kids, men's rogain has been known to help. I would ask a dermatologist first though.
  20. Good shoes is essential to prevent injury! But I don't think you're too overweight for the program. Haven't you seen the biggest loser?!? Lol just don't over do it.
  21. Lol have you jad anymore attacks?
  22. I was hoping I wouldn't have to have surgery but after doing research, it's not lookin good
  23. Same thing going on with me too! Currently on Vicodin. I have an ultrasound Friday. It's happened twice in a week!
