  1. Wow Wow woweeee! You are so beautiful! You were actually my inspiration to get sleeved. I saw one of your post while pre op and said, " yup, I'm doing this!" Congratulations!
  2. I did my surgery in the middle of the semester and it was difficult to keep focused but doable. I had a newborn too so I think you'll be alright! Good luck!
  3. Yes! Exactly and the shorter they cut my hair the fatter my face looked! Nope, not today!
  4. I'm at work on my phone so I can't see pics but I'll look when I get home. I'm sure you look fabulous dahling! My hair looks the same as my pic it's me that looks different!!
  5. And for the first time in my life, I'm not totally disgusted looking at myself in the salon mirror! As a matter of fact, I barely recognize myself. I think I may actually be attractive. Eeeeee new emotions!
  6. She didn't ask for suggestions on whether or not to drink alcohol, is the thing. If you think you're adult enough to tell another adult she should abstain from alcohol, "you should be adult enough to handle various feedback." And mature enough to not mock people with your blah blah blahs.
  7. I think she wants to drink alcohol hence her question about alcohol options not alternatives. I'm sure not everyone who drinks a cocktail turns into a drunken mess.
  8. I drink vodka and fruit punch crystal light. Maybe you can bring crystal light and just get vodka shots.
  9. That lady is a beeeeotch! I've seen 330 in the scale before too. I was so depressed and unhappy. What a rude and immature thing to say! Never confide in her again! I would just keep it a "hi and bye" relationship from now on.
  10. I started off with zucchini and carrots. Brussel sprouts almost killed me haha! I can eat them now!
  11. That's why we love you!
  12. My cousin usually runs in that Marathon. His time is 2 hrs and 45 minutes so he would have been one of the first to cross the finish line with his babies waiting for him there. I'm so thankful he didn't go this year! My heart aches for those people. How scary that this could happen anywhere!
  13. I'm only 5 1/2 months out and my skin is so white it's almost translucent! So mine are very noticeable. But my friend is a yr and a half out and hers shrunk and are barely visible. I hope mine look like hers in the future.
  14. Today is my 22 week surgiversary!!!!!
  15. If anyone is rude about your journey, we'll slam them!!! Haha. I'm curious too. I tried doing research on failed sleeves but couldn't find anything. Luckily it is working for me (down 70 lbs in 5 months). But if it didn't, I would like to know I'm not alone. Or maybe come to a conclusion as to why it wasn't working. We are all so different and have different struggles. I can't imagine it working for every single person.
  16. Counting calories sucks but is essential during weight loss. In my opinion anyway.
  17. You are not a whiny baby at all! You're 4 days out! I felt like complete crap for about 3 weeks. The people I had surgery with felt fine by day 3. Not me. Not everyone has an easy recovery. It will pass. I hope you feel better soon!
  18. I looked on Amazon and they have tea and powder. Which one do you use?
  19. Before surgery I dieted all the time. Id get down to 240/250 then go right back up to 280/290. After surgery, once I hit 245, I stayed there for a month! Now a month later, I'm 231. It's normal to stall. Don't give up! The weight will come off.
  20. I'm so happy for you, Dean! It sounds like you are doing amazingly well!
  21. That's like an hour and a half away from me! I didn't know there was a Huntsville state park, though. I'll have to check it out, thanks!
  22. Fiddleman, I believe you will be a weight loss/maintenance fanatic for life! I don't think I will be. So I'm trying to find something that I can maintain, ya know? I know I can't live without bread or rice haha.
