I need to figure out what I should drink at my brothers wedding. Suffer from acid reflux and of course can't have carbonation. The wine kills me, tried that already. Also unsure about beer due to the hops. Please help

Fruit juices/cranberry has high acid levels

Try vodka and water then add crystal light to it for flavor.

I drink vodka and fruit punch crystal light. Maybe you can bring crystal light and just get vodka shots.

How about water.. Yeah water is always good. You don't have to be a drunken mess in order to celebrate.. Just a thought

well sometimes being the only sober one in the room is no fun...also i've seen a 2 year vet post on these forums how she's been a beer drinker 2-3 times a week. It has carbonation and she's fine. Be extremely careful on the first go around of course but have a little fun!

I no issue with drinking. I like wine. I'm only 4 weeks postop so I'm still abstaining.

Buuuuut. Drinking is not a requirement and there's no reason why one cannot say, "Thanks but just Water for me."

Unless the wedding reception will turn into a bad after school special about peer pressure? ;-)

I did not ask your opinion on whether to drink or not. Ugh anyway i already wasted too much time responding. To those with the good advice THANKS! I like the crystal light idea. ;)
