  1. Mine lasted a few days. Super annoying but it went away fast.
  2. Like many of the early Feb sleevers, I have been in a mini stall. Today I finally decided to look at my measurements. Since surgery I have lost 7 inches on my pooch. ( that nasty lower belly) 7 whole inches. I couldn't believe it. While the scale may have stopped, the inches haven't. You owe it to yourself to take measurements.
  3. Have you tried a heating pad for your gas pains? My boss swore by it. I was very lucky and didnt need to use it but she said she ended up buying two because it was the only thing to sooth her pain.
  4. What's everyone daily diet look like? I am cleared for regular foods again and am having a hard time figuring out what I should be eating a day. I am afraid I will eat too much or too little and not have this work for me. ( I do have the notes from my surgeon to follow as well but they aren't very detailed.)
  5. Prayers for everyone today. See you on the other side.
  6. While I normally agree I've learned that's not always the case post op. I've been hitting fluid goals ( clear urine) and walking a lot and still had issues. The stool softener is safe for long term use as it won't make you go but it will draw the water in to make it not as hard. Miralax on the other hand should only be used until things get back on track.
  7. Just wanted to give all the post op sleever their reminder: make sure you're taking a stool softener or miralax. It's no joke and will sneak up on you. I've had 2 battles post op and I won't wish them on my worst enemy. Stay on top of it.
  8. Susan and Diva, I will be praying for a quick recovery for both of you.
  9. Had my last short term follow up today. I am cleared for regular life again. He also said the protein shakes have to go. They want all my protein from food. This is going to require some serious meal planning as I rely on shakes for the bulk of my protein. Wish me luck
  10. I stalled for 10 days, it started at 10 days post op. i finally started semi losing again.
  11. Me too. I am three weeks post op and have already had a 9 day mini stall. Finally started losing again but I've decided I will only weigh on Mondays.
  12. Marcy, Have you tried the Quest bars yet? So yummy, GNC sells them. They are pricey but awesome. The apple pie reminds me of apple cinnamon oatmeal. You are suppose to microwave them for 5-20 seconds before.
  13. I started taking the fiber tables by fiber choice. So far so good. Everything's been great. I was a little worried today since it has been a few days but everything was normal. I need to get use to the fact my body will only need to go every few days.
  14. I started two days after, thankfully it was after my catheter was removed. Semi on time so I am glad I brought my supplies. Overall it didnt seem to make things any worse. Just a little longer in the bathroom.
  15. I trimmed like normal. After having 2 kids I can care less what the lady bits look like to a Dr. They are professional, they've seen it all. It's really no biggie, just something we like to worry ourselves about.
  16. Did you see they have a pre order for a higher dose of caramel? I wanted to order but I wasn't sure if those were good. I will have to try them now tht you said they were good.
  17. I hate when I piss my sleeve off. I've noticed she is very temperamental about certain things. I ordered the raspberry calcium chews today. I hope they are worth it. My boss loves them. Hopefully my sassy frass sleeve will tolerate them.
  18. When I'm full I have a tightness in my chest. Normally right after I will have a single hiccup. If I over eat it's pretty obvious. I feel like I am dying, my chest hurts, I get anxious, head ache feeling and kinda sweaty. It goes away after 15-20 minutes.
  19. I am going to start wearing my spanx for the same reason.
