How often do you buy new clothes?
Do you have a tailor? I wear a pant suit uniform at work and have had it altered 3 times already. It started at a 30 and now it's altered down to a larger 20. I have also taken in my other pants.

FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
Hey guys, I haven't been on here too much anymore but I thought I would update. Surgery was 2/4 and I am currently down 48 pounds. ( 21 pre-op and 27 post) I haven't noticed too much of a difference yet but I have had to alter my uniform for work twice. I am able to eat more and my hungry has returned. I started taking an acid reducer today in hopes I am feeling acid and not hunger. I also quit losing for awhile and the drop like crazy. As of right now, I've been playing with the same pound for 4 days. Going to join a gym and try an kick start all of this. Hope everyone is doing well

Soo constipated!
MIlk of magnesia to move things along quick. Follow up with miralax, one dose a day until things are too soft. Then move to every other day. Then every third day. Since using miralax I've been able to go everyday.

RIP livesaveremt
While we all know the risks, it doesn't make hearing this type of news any easier. I will be praying for his family during this very difficult time. May you rest in peace.

Keeping surgery MY secret
I would tell all my doctors. If it was spread around I would hire a lawyer. hippa laws are in place for this reason. What if you have a complication during surgery. If they run a blind tube they could kill you.

FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
It looks like everyone is doing awesome their first month. Can you believe we did it? All those fears and sleepless nights worrying gone. I just want to say how proud I am to all the sleevers. You made the decision to change your life and you followed through. Be proud of yourselves!!!! I did have a major scale victory today. My first life stage goal. Today I am my pre-pregnancy weight of my second son. 10lbs until my next LS goal which is my pre-pregnancy of my 1st.

- Protein Shake/Bars: What's your favorite?
If I eat a bar it's a Quest Protein bar. They are the cleanest bar you will be able to find. For shakes I drink the premiere protein. You can buy them at SAMs, costco and I've read Kroger.- Crystal light and protein powder
- I think I figured out how to break this stall
I had this experience this past weekend. My weight loss slowed way down. This weekend I ate with my family and didn't stress about my carbs. I had 1/5 sandwich, a 2 oz noodles and some other carbs and I started losing again. I plan to keep my carbs higher now.- feb 2013 sleevers weigh in

Sleeved 2/4: 42.6 total Starting weight/highest weight: 315 Surgery weight: 294 1 month: 276 Today: 272.4 I slowed way down and even gained one week. It started to pick back up the last 3 days. Right now I am 7.5 pounds from my surgeons goal of 30% loss by May.- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
I also weigh daily, it's pretty bad since I have a withings scale. It will link to my app on my phone and computer, also my lose it app I use to track calories, carbs, protein. I keep telling myself I am not going to weigh but it never happens. I did start only logging my Monday weights in my book, along with my measurements and it helps me not feel as nutty.- My precious premier protein drinks :(
I have been having one every morning, today it didn't want to go down. I did half and the waited about 30 minutes and finished. It was gagging me every time I swallowed. I was wondering if something changes from my last box to this one.- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved

Diva, how are you feeling?- Where did you notice the weight loss first?
First was my face and hands, after that was my upper waist to bra area. I've lost a little from the girls but not much. I also took measurements and have lost 7 inches from my lower stomach (apron) area. I am 1 month post op.- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
Wow, I can't believe it's already been a month since I was sleeved. So far it's been an amazing journey. I have decided to weigh weekly from here on out and measurements biweekly. My stats so far: Starting weight: 315 Surgery weight-294 PO 1 month: 276 I hit a wall at 10 days out and haven't been able to get that steady loss streak back. It's been very slow since then. I am working the program and trying to add more calories. I am also going to ramp out my work outs. I am going to aim to walk/run 2 miles 5 days a week. Hope everyone is doing well. I will be praying for a quick recovery for all the new sleevers. - FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
