Pain drinking water :(
try taking smaller sips...focus on getting the liquid in. In the beginning that's all I did. I would spend an hour to an hour and a half to drink one protein drink....I only walked until I got the drink in before doing something else. It's easy to forget to drink.

I need help
call your dr/nut and ask. maybe make sure you get your fluids in and go back to doing protein shakes for a while and slowly introduce food again. hope all goes well

First time meeting restriction, it is awful!
Yep, I've had it happen a couple of times....you'd think I'd learn, but sometimes the food goes down too easy that I end up eating one bite too much. I'll eventually get this eating thing down...

NorCal Kaiser 2 week Pre-Op diet?
remember to get in at least 8 cups of fluids. I think it will help with the headaches. I'm in VA and have Kaiser insurance. The surgeon is affiliated with Kaiser but not a Kaiser doctor. I only had one week od high protein and clear liquid diet....good luck with yours

Spouse dought!
I was very fortunate that my hubby was supportive....just not about going to mexico for it...luckily my insurance covers it. I've had a smooth recovery. He knows I want plastic surgery afterwards because I have an apron and the girls are running south. I just told him the sleeve was part one and plastics is part two....he just laughed

"Pigging out" today...
make sure your getting more than enough fluids and change up your exercise routine or add exercise if not doing any. I walk at least 5 miles a day and occasionally I do less or more so my body doesn't get use to a routine...good luck

Foot pain
I've gotten it occasionally but not to the point where I can't walk. I just start out slowly and let the foot warm up then I no longer feel it. maybe a hot foot soak would be good for it. good luck with it

Seeing the #s change, but not feeling it?
Me thinks you were wearing the wrong size clothes prior to surgery and that's why you haven't gone down a size yet But your right...I don't feel lighter, but know I am. I am doing okay...working my way into soft foods....had some fish today and took a bite too many. Still trying to learn what that full feeling is like.

Depression
Oh, I sure do understand since I suffer from depression. My hubby and kids suffered also because of my depression. I've been on meds since 2006 I think. I'm also a binge eater too with the depression. If i were in your situation, I would take care of the depression first. I think it'll put you in a better frame of mind for wls since it's a big commitment on your part and you definitely want your 'A' game.....good luck
