Good for You. You are NOT alone. I am not alone. We are family - VST family and we do (I found out the first day I joined) care about each other. That's a great feeling. So to paraphase what you said....

LET GO & LET GOD. He's got this, get out of his way. Lord it took me too many times of standing in front of him to realize I should move to side.

I did have a 'last supper'. I had a double quarter lb'der, fries & a sugar free iced tea (the nerve ). Had 1 patty for lunch w/ the fries & the other for dinner later that night. The night b4 surgery I had a fish sandwich (burger king). No regrets.

You are on way. Your first step ... admitting it, and you did that. Congrats. I too can relate. Got off track Food was there to pick me up -BUT, I could not eat the way I wanted to during that low state (thank goodness) because SLEEVE wouldn't let me.

I'm 8 weeks post op.Once I faced what was going on and why, things turned around for the better.

It does happen to us all. That's why we got each other. You are not alone.

Sounds tasty. I may have to try this .... as soon as my dr. says I can eat tomatoes.

But I might have to find a substitute
