How many weeks out are you?

Five pounds a week is nothing to sneeze at. I was sleeved September 26th and I have lost 44 lbs. That's 11 lbs a month. Now the first 2 weeks I was down about 10 lbs also. But it adds up. Even if you only lose 2 lbs a week from now on, in a year you will be down 104 lbs in a year, right!

I haven't drank soda and I won't. But I eat a little bread if it's whole grain and then I only eat a couple of bites. My doctor says half a sliced of bread or 1/3 of a cup or rice or pasta. I am allowed eggs but I can only really eat one now. I still really don't drink milk but I love eating non-fat, sugar free yogurt.
My favorite since surgery is Kroger's Carbmaster yogurt. It has no fat and no sugar but it only comes in a few flavors. My favorite is Raspberry but my doctor said no seeds and it has seeds so my current favorite is Peach. Kroger also makes Kroger Lite which has more flavors and only a few more carbs. Both of them are non-fat and sweetened with Spenda. Cherry Cheesecake has 80 calories, 7g protein 11 g carb and zero fat.

I've never had that - but I have eaten too fast or too much or not chewed enough and had it has come right back up. I've thrown up rice and broccoli so far. I've eaten them since, but I try to go slower , chew better and not eat so much.

I recommend Omron Pedometers. Their model HJ-112 can be worn on your belt or carried in a pocket or purse. I always had problems with the clip on the pedometer breaking and it becoming useless. This pedometer fixed that problem.

That worries me a little too. I met my boyfriend when I weighed about 170 and and then after a number of stressful things happened I got up to 240. Now I'm down to 220 and I am sure he will be ok with me being 170 and probably even 150 - but what about if I get down to my doctor's goal of 130 or my personal goal of 120.
But what worried me more is that I might have to have knee replacement surgery at 55 or that my blood pressure which used to be low all the time and had started creeping up to the 140's and I might have a stroke or heart failure. Or that I might die in my sleep from sleep apnea.
I want to be healthy and if he's not happy with that I'm a strong, independant woman and I will get along just fine without him.

I had a sonogram on my heart because my EKG was abnormal. But they said the sonogram was normal. I also have to have a stress test - although the cardiologist still said he would clear me for surgery.
He does not understand.....

I never buy sugar and when my skinny boyfriend asks for sugar, I just hand him the Splenda and he can't even tell the difference. If he thinks it would be good with sugar, just hand him the Splenda.
