  1. Great for you! I think I'm due for a fill, I'm eating wayyyy too much. Things I haven't eaten in over a year, like a flour tortilla quesadilla.
  2. LMAO, probably bought by a wanna be band doctor, JUST JOKING!
  3. Don't put it in the dryer! Congratulations on the "large". You go girl!
  4. There are lots of members here from the Tar Heel state, especially the Charlotte area. I'm sorta from there, I have a summer home in Nags Head, does that count? Welcome.
  5. Darcey, you've got to feel good about getting rebanded, I mean really good, after what you've been through, take all the time you need. If you chose not to do it, then so be it.
  6. I had to laugh Betty, I thought you meant another meeting with the job interview. Glad you got the walk in though.
  7. I always follow any med with a bottle of water.

No olives, bread, rice, mushrooms, oh yeah, pretzels, OMG, stay away from the pretzels.
  9. No mushrooms, olives or potatoes, instant :spit:spit, LOL.
  10. Welcome Charlee, what a cute name! I wish you the best.
  11. Welcome back, now break out the pictures.
  12. Happy Birthday, hope your day was special! :happybday:
  13. Pictures, I want to see pictures.
  14. I have the wall mirror, the dreadmill and the room for the equipment, just never got around to "completing" the decor (the equipment).
  15. You may be a little swollen, I'd give it another 24hrs, but if you feel something has happened, give your doctor a call, better safe than sorry.
  16. I think the amount of weight you have to lose is a major factor as well as the age and amount of elasticity left in the skin, but it's worth the sag to be healthier and happier.
  17. My doctor only has monthly gastro bypass meetings. I prefer the support I get right here, don't have to get dressed, just point and click. Thanks gang!
  18. I hope my doctor is reading this thread and realizes he could be a little nicer and add another year of fills, especially since I only used 1/2 of my visits the first year.
  19. So many to select from, we could do a puzzle of emoticons, LOL.
  20. Sounds like 2006 is your year, good luck!
  21. My doctor didn't add any fill when I was banded, but he says that he does add a little now with the larger bands.
  22. Please see your doctor right away, AND let us know the outcome. Throwing up constantly is not a good thing.
  23. I like the idea of paying a one time "lifetime" fee. I think I'll mention it to my doctor.
  24. I had a hiatal hernia, which was fixed when the band was done. With fixing ther hernia and adding the band, the surgery took less than 1/2 hour. Good Luck
  25. Very good point Brad, that could very well be the reason my scales were not nice this AM. Protein, protein, protein, no sugar today, I promise!
