possible hernia and band????????

hi all, im scheduled for surgery the 31st of jan. however im having to have an endoscopy the 20th to see what causing my stomache problems now. if it turns out i have a hernia, can hernia repair and band be done at same time as with rny? i wasnt sure what to expect coming up. lets hope its not a bleeding ulcer or anything worse. thanks Roger -FL>

I had a hiatal hernia, which was fixed when the band was done. With fixing ther hernia and adding the band, the surgery took less than 1/2 hour.

I had a hiatal hernia too which was fixed during surgery. :clap2:

My band doctor says he will fix my hernia and then place the band, all in one surgery.
