  1. Sometimes if you're not eating enough it will slow the weight loss too. Good Luck!
  2. Penni, that's a great idea, the later time works better for me as well. I'm usually more settled in at the computer around that time, got all the family do's out of the way. I agree we have a valuable tool there we're not utilizing. Thanks
  3. LOL, when you're 5'2" 5'10" is tall! Lucky You!
  4. Happy Birthday Ryan, wishing you a wonderful day.
  5. Are ya'll eating the bread with those sandwiches? Since my fill last Wed, I'm sitting here eating Wendy's chili, AFTER it went through the bullet blender and pureed. I couldn't even get a milkshake down today without pbng. If I'm not able to get more down by Wed I guess I'll have to get some taken out, I never thought I'd here/see me say that. I've pbd so much since last Wed it's a wonder I'm not dehydrated. TG for coffee and Water. Kelly, watch that special dressing that goes with that mandarin salad it's loaded with calories.
  6. I pulled up the link Michelle had, I'm just a country gal, I especially appreciated the "private bath" part. What do they usually have in NY, rooms share the same bath and toilet? Call me spoiled, but I prefer my own toilet and shower, LMAO. How far is Morrisontown from NY, does the subway go there?
  7. Denise, that was too funny. When my girls bring stew and left overs for lunch it smells like we're running a restaurant instead of an office. Stinks up the whole place. I just wait until they're done then get out the air spray.
  8. Get those feet up and kick back, your turn to be waited on for a change, take care.
  9. I knew it would be expensive, I was just sharing I had stayed there. I have no problem staying anywhere, just as long as it's clean and nice. I keep a can of Lysol in my suitcase at all times, wouldn't leave home on a trip without it. Wow $250.00 a nite, I think it was probably $150 the many years ago I went, which really wasn't that bad splitting the cost with another person. I thought you had connections Alex, LOL. Anyone a travel agent who can get the killer discounts?
  10. Yea, yea, yea, pictures pleasssssssssssse.
  11. I was nervous a couple of days before, but the day of surgery I was nothing, but excited and ready. I'm excited for you.
  12. Tmarie, it's bound to be muscle and like everyone says, muscle weights more, not only that, it boosts your metab. Like Michelle said, you may not be eating enough, then your body holds onto anything it can use for energy. You're doing great I'm sure.
  13. Count me in! I just need a location so I can book my flight. Would someone close please name some GOOD hotels? I stayed at the Marriott @ Times Square one time, wow that was a nice hotel.
  14. Betty you are so right, THERE ARE ANGELS AMONG US!
  15. Good for you Betty and everyone else. Wow Vicki, you've done really well, especially since you were so much lighter than most when you started. I was barely able to qualify medically at my starting weight, my BMI was like 39 I think. Keep up the good work, at the rate you're going you'll be 120something before ya know it.
  16. Jamie, and I thought I was excited.
  17. Boohoo, I never have a loss on Monday, I think we should change this to Tuesday, LOL, still 186. After I finish this prune juice today, I'll let you know the difference tomorrow. Have a great day everyone.
  18. I'd love to get my eyes done, I'd probably end up with them being too tight and have to sleep the rest of my life with my eyes open. Good luck with surgery, lucky you!
  19. Check with Burnsun too, she adopted two children with DS. She could probably offer some advice as well. Porc, it sounds like you've been blessed with such a wonderful son. Such a tiny little heart to have to go through so much, give Nolan an extra kiss for me.
  20. The baby is beautiful and so are you and your family. You are such a special angel, not everyone could do what you've done. I take my hat off to you and your family. I'm sure there will be a special place for you in heaven, (not that we're sending you off by any means). Those children are so blessed to have you as their mom. I just love people like you. God Bless You!
  21. May, OMG, I'd be freakn too. Heck if I got a fill now, I'd still need another fill in May. I'd try to work one in somewhere, somehow. Good luck finding that fill.
  22. Paula, I've tried coleslaw twice since banding and it didn't settle well at all. It must be the cabbage, ummm cooked cabbage sounds good though.
  23. Wow Paula, I'm glad you added that. I would have thought the expensive stuff would be better for ya, I guess it pays to be a penny pincher sometimes.
  24. Penni, my grandson's gonna be needing one of those passy patches before long. Hang in there Princess, your son will be so proud of his mommy.
  25. Alex and Penni thank you both for answering my questions, it means a lot to me, as does this site. Alex, I think it's pretty obvious we are all so grateful to have LBT, so we are able to voice our thoughts, our concerns, and share our opinions. Thanks for not getting frustrated with us and shutting down LBT. PS... congratulations on your weight loss as well.
